Artisan & Artist ACAM-312A strap camera mount

ARTISAN & ARTIST ACAM-312A Silk Cord Camera Strap

Elevate your photography experience with the ARTISAN & ARTIST ACAM-312A, a camera strap that masterfully blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern functionality. Designed for the discerning photographer who values comfort, durability, and unparalleled style, this strap is more than an accessory; it is an extension of your creative passion. Handcrafted in Japan, the ACAM-312A embodies a legacy of quality and meticulous attention to detail.

The core of this exceptional strap is its construction from pure silk, woven using the ancient Japanese braiding technique of *Kumihimo*. This method, once used to create the ornate and strong cords for samurai armor, results in a strap that is incredibly robust yet remarkably soft and flexible. The round, pliable cord feels gentle against the neck, preventing the chafing and discomfort often associated with standard camera straps during long shoots. The natural elasticity of the silk also acts as a subtle shock absorber, providing a stable and comfortable carrying experience for your valuable camera gear.

Key Benefits:

* Supreme Comfort: The soft, smooth texture of the *Kumihimo* silk cord is gentle on the skin and breathable, making it ideal for all-day use in any climate. Its flexibility allows it to conform perfectly to your body or wrap securely around your wrist for a quick shooting grip.
* Exceptional Strength: Despite its delicate feel, the traditional *Kumihimo* braiding technique gives the silk cord extraordinary tensile strength, ensuring your camera is held securely and reliably.
* Elegant Aesthetics: The minimalist design and rich texture of the silk, complemented by premium leather details, offer a sophisticated and timeless look that enhances the appearance of any high-end mirrorless or rangefinder camera.
* Camera Body Protection: The strap features meticulously stitched Italian leather flaps at both ends. These protective tabs are ingeniously designed to sit between the steel attachment rings and your camera body, effectively preventing any scratches or wear marks on the camera’s finish.

Main Features:

The ACAM-312A is a testament to functional elegance. The main body consists of the beautifully braided silk cord, which provides the strap´s signature comfort and strength. The ends are finished with high-quality Italian leather, hand-stitched for maximum durability and a touch of luxury. The strap connects to your camera via a robust and secure ring-type attachment system, a classic choice for many Fujifilm, Leica, and other mirrorless camera systems.
