Chieftec Smart 450W Power Supply

EU PlugCHIEFTEC Smart 450W ATX Power Supply - Reliable and Efficient Power for Your PC Power your home or office computer with the confidence and stability of the CHIEFTEC Smart 450W Power Supply.

As a cornerstone of the renowned Smart series, this ATX power supply unit (PSU) is engineered to deliver dependable performance for a wide range of system builds.

It provides a solid 450 W of continuous power, making it an ideal choice for mainstream desktops, multimedia centers, and office workstations that require efficiency without compromising on reliability.

The non-modular design ensures that all necessary cables are readily available, simplifying the installation process for both first-time builders and experienced technicians seeking a straightforward and cost-effective power solution.

Stable and Efficient Performance At the core of the CHIEFTEC Smart 450W is a commitment to efficiency and electrical stability.

Featuring Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC), this PSU significantly improves power efficiency and stabilizes your system by ensuring a smooth and consistent power draw from the wall outlet.

With a proven efficiency rating of over 80%, it minimizes wasted energy, converting more power directly to your components.

This not only leads to lower electricity consumption and reduced energy bills but also results in less heat generation, contributing to a cooler and more stable overall system environment.

The unit´s robust design and long hold-up time further guarantee consistent power delivery, even during brief fluctuations in the mains supply.

Comprehensive System Protection Protect your valuable PC components with a full suite of industrial-grade safety features.

The CHIEFTEC Smart 450W is equipped with multiple protection circuits to safeguard your hardware against electrical anomalies.

These protections include Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), Short-Circuit Protection (SCP), and Over Power Protection (OPP).

This comprehensive safety net constantly monitors the power flow, instantly shutting down the unit in the event of a dangerous electrical fault.

This proactive approach prevents potential damage to your motherboard, CPU, graphics card, and storage drives, giving you peace of mind that your investment is secure.

Optimized for Quiet Operation Enjoy a quieter computing experience thanks to the intelligently designed cooling system.

This 450 W power supply incorporates a large, 120mm silent fan that provides excellent airflow while operating at very low noise levels.

The fan´s speed is automatically controlled based on the system´s load and temperature, ensuring it spins only as fast as necessary.

During idle or low-load tasks, the fan remains virtually inaudible, creating a more pleasant and distraction-free work or entertainment environment.

This focus on quiet operation makes the CHIEFTEC Smart an excellent PSU for builds where low ambient noise is a priority.
