Barbara is one of the main heroines of Argentine comics. In a post-apocalyptic, primitive, and wild world, a young woman is expelled from her clan for not accepting the rules that discriminate against her as a woman. She begins to discover that neither the religion nor the history that has been instilled in her people have any relation to the truth. In a journey that will take her from the jungles surrounding a Buenos Aires flooded by water, to outer space, Barbara represents a song to freedom and an apology for the fight for equality in all its facets, including sexuality.
