- E-flite Night Timber X Evolution 1.2m Overview The E-flite Timber X 1.2m unleashes a new era of STOL plus 3D and aerobatic capability.

Based on the extremely popular Timber 1.5m models but with a different wing design and oversized control surfaces, it offered an even wider flight envelope to provide a truly “smooth to wild” flying experience.

In addition to standard landing, navigation, and strobe LED lights, the Night Timber X Evolution 1.2m adds high-visibility LED lights integrated throughout the fuselage that allow for flying practically anytime, day OR night! It also features many updates and improvements over the original Night Timber X, including a top hatch for quicker and easier battery changes, as well as combined connectors for easier wing installation and removal.

Reinforced landing gear mounts, along with stronger springs similar to those on the Twin Timber 1.6m, enhance durability and STOL capability when flying from rough terrain.

Both versions are equipped with updated and more reliable metal gear servos, a compatible 3S and 4S 2200-3200mAh motor with a new and more robust mounting design, and a higher-capacity 70-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC.

The BNF Basic version comes factory-equipped with an AR631+ receiver that incorporates the exclusive and enhanced AS3X+ and optional SAFE Select technologies.

The receiver also provides real-time telemetry, including overall battery voltage, current, and more to compatible transmitters - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - as well as motor/thrust reversing for special ground maneuvers and other capabilities.

The hollow-core EPO construction with composite reinforcement results in a lightweight yet durable fuselage that makes it capable of extreme aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing loading low for impressive short takeoff and landing (STOL) and slow flight performance.

-eXtra Smart Technology The Night Timber X Evolution 1.2m is equipped with a unique Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC that can provide a variety of real-time telemetry data related to the power system, including motor RPM, current, battery voltage, and more - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - through compatible receivers (including the AR631+) and Spektrum transmitters equipped with AirWare (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 to 20, and others) while flying.

Additionally, the receiver includes a smart transmitter file that allows you to import all settings from NX and iX series transmitters during the binding process.

- eXtreme Maneuverability The Night Timber X Evolution 1.2m features a wing design with a shortened span, along with much larger ailerons and flaps, along with enlarged elevator and rudder compared to the Timber 1.5m models.

The double-beveled hinge lines make it possible to deflect each control surface, including flaps that can deflect in both directions, to high angles for extraordinary control and extreme 3D aerobatic capability.

Or at low speed, the controls can be smooth and docile so you can fly as gently or as wild as you desire.

-eXtra Power The factory-installed brushless power system features a 70-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC along with a specially tuned motor and propeller that provide plenty of thrust with a 3S LiPo battery, or eXtra power and unlimited vertical performance with a 4S battery without the need for modifications or upgrades.

These features, along with the lightweight design, oversized flaps, and high-power brushless propulsion system, make it possible to leap into the air or descend gently to land in just 60 cm or less.
