Fiio BTR17 Audio Amplifier

About the FiiO BTR17.

It integrates a Bluetooth v5.4 Qualcomm QCC5181 receiver with the ability to decode high-resolution codecs.

It has a dual ES9069Q DAC that is responsible for reproducing audio with maximum quality and an amplifier, developed by THX, that reaches 650mW of output power.

In addition, it offers a fluid interface through a color IPS screen.

Qualcomm 5181 Receiver.

It is capable of offering lossless quality sound through LDAC and aptX Adaptive codecs, as well as AAC, aptX HD and aptX Lossless with a sound reproduction with a remarkable amount of detail via Bluetooth v5.4.

Desktop Mode.

In this mode, connected via USB-C, the device reaches an output power of 650 mW + 650 mW.

USB Chip XMOS XU316.

Compatibility with 768kHz/32 bit audio, native DSD512 and full MQA decoding means that the chip can handle any audio stream.

Dual DAC ESS9069Q.

Inside the FiiO BTR17 we find two ESS9069Q DACs based on the fourth-generation 32-bit HyperStream architecture, for high performance with lower power consumption.

This architecture helps reduce digital noise within the DAC, allowing it to achieve a dynamic range of 130dB and a total harmonic distortion of -120dB.

The result is a richer and more musical sound over a cleaner background.

Modern and intuitive interface.

The amplifier equips a 1.3´´ IPS screen that facilitates use by integrating color codes that intuitively indicate the codec in reproduction, the bit rate and other important details. On the other hand, the volume knob features a double-sided 3D engraved design, providing an excellent tactile feel and precise control.
