The Eiger Matte Box Filter System features a durable black design with a magnetic IRND32 filter that helps reduce glare and reflections in bright light conditions. This filter also helps improve image quality by controlling exposure levels and enhancing colors.

The FREEWELL Eiger Matte Box Filter System is easy to attach and detach from your lens, making it a convenient accessory for on-the-go shooting. Whether you are shooting outdoors or in a studio setting, this matte box filter system is a must-have tool for photographers and videographers looking to enhance their images and videos.

At the heart of the Eiger system is its revolutionary magnetic design. Swap filters in an instant without the tedious process of screwing and unscrewing. This rapid, secure attachment mechanism ensures you never miss a critical shot, allowing for seamless adjustments as lighting conditions change. This efficiency is a game-changer for fast-paced shoots, documentary filmmaking, and event videography.

The included Magnetic IRND32 filter is an essential creative tool. Providing a 5-stop reduction in light, it empowers you to shoot with wide-open apertures even in bright daylight. This allows you to achieve a beautifully shallow depth of field and cinematic motion blur by maintaining ideal shutter speeds. The filter’s advanced Infrared (IR) coating is critical, neutralizing infrared light pollution to guarantee perfect color neutrality and prevent the magenta/green color shifts common with lesser-quality ND filters. The optical surface features a robust coating that is waterproof, dustproof, scratch-resistant, and oil-proof, ensuring pristine image clarity even in challenging environments.

Beyond filtration, the Eiger functions as a highly effective matte box. Its integrated top flag is instrumental in blocking stray light and preventing unwanted lens flare, which can degrade contrast and introduce artifacts into your footage. By precisely controlling the light entering your lens, you can significantly enhance image saturation and clarity for a polished, professional look. Designed with versatility and portability in mind, the FREEWELL Eiger Matte Box is remarkably lightweight and compact. Its unobtrusive profile makes it an ideal choice for gimbal, drone, and handheld camera setups where balance and weight are paramount. Move freely and creatively without being encumbered by heavy, traditional rigs
