The ND64 filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 6 EV, for filming or taking photos in very sunny weather.

This powerful neutral density filter is your key to achieving the coveted natural motion blur that defines cinematic video. By cutting the amount of light entering the drone´s Hasselblad camera sensor by 6 f-stops, it enables you to use slower shutter speeds. This allows you to adhere to the 180-degree shutter rule, creating a smooth, fluid motion in your videos that looks natural and pleasing to the eye, eliminating the choppy, jarring effect often seen in drone footage shot in bright conditions.

Beyond video, the Freewell ND64 filter is a game-changer for aerial long-exposure photography. Capture stunning, ethereal images even in the middle of the day. Blur the movement of clouds across the sky, smooth out the surface of water for a milky, dreamlike effect, or create dynamic light trails from moving vehicles. This filter opens up a new realm of creative possibilities that are typically impossible to achieve in bright sunlight without significant overexposure.

Crafted with Freewell´s industry-leading GimbalSafe technology, each filter is constructed from an ultra-lightweight yet robust CNC machined frame. This precision engineering ensures that the filter is light enough not to overload or impede the delicate mechanics of your Mavic 2 Pro´s gimbal, guaranteeing smooth, stable operation and protecting your investment.

The optical quality is second to none. The filter features premium, color-neutral optical glass that ensures your images and videos retain their true-to-life color and clarity. Your footage will be free from any color cast, allowing for a more streamlined post-production workflow. To further enhance performance and durability, the glass is treated with multiple layers of advanced coatings. These coatings make the filter scratch-resistant, waterproof, dustproof, and oilproof, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of outdoor use and is incredibly easy to clean in the field. The anti-reflection properties of the coatings also minimize lens flare and ghosting, preserving the contrast and detail in your shots.

Ideal for filming in extremely bright environments such as snow-covered landscapes, sun-drenched deserts, or over reflective water on a clear day, the Freewell ND64 filter for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro is an indispensable tool for any serious content creator looking to elevate their aerial imagery from standard to spectacular
