Freewell ND64 DJI Osmo Action Action Camera Filter

Freewell filter ND64 for DJI Osmo Action camera.

The ND64 filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 6 EV, for filming or taking photos in very sunny weather.

Unlock the full cinematic potential of your DJI Osmo Action with the Freewell ND64 Neutral Density Filter. This professional-grade filter is an indispensable tool for videographers and photographers who demand creative control and impeccable image quality, especially when shooting in intensely bright environments. By reducing the amount of light hitting the camer´s sensor by a significant 6 f-stops, the ND64 filter empowers you to master your exposure and achieve stunning visual effects that are impossible with the naked lens.

The primary benefit of this filter is the ability to maintain ideal shutter speeds for smooth, cinematic motion. In bright daylight, your camer´s automatic settings would typically force a very high shutter speed, resulting in choppy, unnatural-looking video. The ND64 filter corrects this by allowing you to slow the shutter speed down to achieve the classic 180-degree shutter rule (shutter speed at double your frame rate). This technique produces a subtle, natural motion blur that transforms your action footage into a polished, professional production, making every movement appear fluid and graceful.

Crafted from premium, high-definition optical glass, the Freewell ND64 filter guarantees exceptional clarity and sharpness. It is engineered to be perfectly color-neutral, ensuring that it will not introduce any unwanted color cast to your footage. Your videos and photos will retain their true-to-life vibrancy and accurate color rendition, just as you see them.

Built for adventure, the filter is protected by Freewell´s advanced multi-layer coating process. This robust coating makes the filter scratch-resistant, waterproof, dustproof, and oilproof. This durable construction not only protects the filter from the rigors of outdoor use but also makes it incredibly easy to clean, so you can shoot with confidence in challenging conditions like dusty trails, misty waterfalls, or at the beach.

A key innovation is Freewell´s proprietary GimbalSafe technology. This ensures the filter is manufactured with an ultra-lightweight frame, preventing any negative impact on the DJI Osmo Action´s gimbal performance. You can be assured of perfectly smooth, stabilized footage as the filter´s feather-light design will not strain the gimbal motors or cause calibration issues. The filter is also designed for a simple and secure fit, allowing for quick installation and removal so you never miss a critical shot. Whether you´re capturing a sunset over a snowy landscape, filming on a bright tropical beach, or shooting long-exposure photography of clouds or water during the day, the Freewell ND64 filter is the essential accessory to prevent overexposure and elevate your creative vision
