A notch better than the Edge 1040: faster and more durable. It was easy to switch to Solar. Connecting sensors is a dream. Do I even need to charge this at all? ... maybe with training resistance in use. It´s good that Garmin included a silicone cover in the delivery

Product as described. Package carefully packed. Delivery within the established time

It is just too much for triatlon training.

So far only around 500km ridden, keeps the battery very well. Solar charging is not really helping when riding, but it charges the device if i let it at the window. Never used for navigating, but for training i hear a little too much beeps, so i constatntly getting my sight off the road. It is simply too much for training especially when you rarely need navigation otherwise is a premium stuff.

I had the Edge 1000 and I already needed to take a power bank with me on my rides because the battery didn't last all day. Now I can do two rides without needing to charge it, in addition to the extra features, such as having control over the gears and the battery level of the gear shifter.

I've been using the Garmin Edge 1040 Solar for a few weeks now – it's absolutely fantastic! Solar charging significantly extends the battery life, making it perfect for long tours or bikepacking. Navigation, power measurement, and maps – everything runs smoothly and reliably. The display is large, bright, and easy to read even in direct sunlight. Setup was easy, and the connection to the sensors and app works flawlessly. Fast shipping from TradeINN – very satisfied!

Superb GPS 1040 Solar meter, intuitive, quick to implement, full of possibilities and information on this model, very pleasant screen and good vision. I bought the same one because following a breakage of the support my meter fell to 75 km/h and literally exploded (I had not fixed the link to hold it) I highly recommend

Of course, you can't expect anything less from a Garmin cycle computer. I bought it when the 1050 was just released, but I'm still super satisfied with this unit and model, which has been more than tested and gives excellent results.

On long tours, I finally have a computer that doesn't run out of battery for the last hour! Old sensors were "moved" without any problems, everything is the same in Garmin Connect, only the device has been changed. Climb pro helps me to distribute my energy better on climbs. The weak points with Garmin remain, they are in the system and not in the device, but the device is the best I have ever had.

I am impressed by the clear, easy-to-read display, I was able to set up the device relatively easily and was able to pair all the sensors and they work perfectly. I can really recommend the Edge 1040 S.

Superb cycling computer

Super satisfied with the cycle computer. Long battery life, easy to adapt the display to your own preferences. Good navigation with good "warnings" about, for example, sharp curves, climbing information, etc. I thought it would be perceived as a bit large, but as I said, it feels neat. Well worth the investment

The correct delivery time and the condition of the package in perfect condition. What the Garmin is already, well, amazing, it came from the Garmin 1000 and the improvements are very considerable, battery, screen, menus, satellite, navigation or the app. There is still a lot to explore but compared to the previous one, the improvements are very noticeable.

Nothing to say about the product, it meets my expectations, however I find it a bit cavalier that two days after my order the same product was €80 cheaper. Not nice for customers.

As a cycle computer I have always used the Garmin brand. I have made the jump from the Garmin 530 to this product and I assure you that the jump is brutal. An excellent product, the Garmin 1040 Solar, like everything Garmin makes. Many new functions, but we must have the corresponding sensors for them to work, one more expense. This cyclocomputer has improved the start that is much faster than the previous ones, the screen is very clear, and above all the best thing is the excellent battery life and the protector that for this game is very rigid compared to what you sell other dealers. In conclusion, I personally liked it.

I have been using Garmin products for a long time and was ready for clumsy software. I switched from 820. The navigator is of course a big nice sensor. When trying to remove the plug, it fell off, it’s good to have small screwdrivers repaired, in Taiwan, during assembly, the plug retainers were not installed correctly. I flooded the OCM cards, which is not a problem with the previous 820. And all 1040 freezes, reboots, resetting to factory settings, etc. did not help, I think everyone arrived. But after reading the forums, I found an update, installed it manually, manually deleted the OCM cards. Then I updated to the latest firmware and, lo and behold, the OSM cards work and everything works. Haven't traveled with him yet. If I add anything. P.S.the kit comes with a silicone case, I either read the package badly or it was not indicated, I ordered it separately and now I have two of them.

Hi there. I have presbyopia. Do you have the option to increase both the thickness of the track and the navigation triangle for better tracking? Thank you.
