Imou Cruiser 2 - 3K
The Cruiser 2 3K leaves no corner of your front or back garden uncovered thanks to the PTZ function; 340 rotation, 90 degree tilt and 8x digital zoom. The Cruiser 2 has 4 night vision modes, including Smart Full Color night vision. With Smart Full Color night vision, the camera shows a grayscale image by means of infrared light. When a person or vehicle is detected, the built-in floodlights are activated to display images in color. This outdoor camera features Smart Tracking and AI people and vehicle detection, when a person or vehicle is identified, the camera will automatically follow the movement. The Imou Cruiser has an IP66 certificate which makes the camera suitable for all weather conditions. This security camera also features two-way talk; hear and react to what is perceived with the built-in speaker and microphone. Connect the Cruiser 2 outdoor camera via WiFi (2.4 GHz, Dual Antenna) or Ethernet.
Imou Sense
The Cruiser 2 features Imou Sense, a proprietary AI algorithm with up to 50% more accurate detection than before. The industry-leading technology reduces false alarms and more accurate detection of people and vehicles. No more false alarms caused by a mosquito or a falling branch. Thanks to Imou Sense, the Cruiser 2 can provide effective person detection with a detection range of 22 meters and vehicle detection up to 44 meters.
Image quality
The 3K, or 5 megapixel, lens offers excellent image quality to keep an eye on a front yard, backyard or garage. The applied H.265 image compression technique ensures that high-quality recordings and streams take up relatively little space and therefore require less bandwidth. In this way, the available storage space and bandwidth can be used optimally. The Imou Cruiser security camera uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with a double antenna for a longer range. In addition to a wireless connection, this camera has an Ethernet port for wired connection.
Smart Tracking and Night Vision
The Cruiser 2 3K outdoor camera accurately identifies people and vehicles with the AI detection function. False alarms from, for example, animals or falling leaves are prevented. When detected, the camera follows the movement thanks to the PTZ function with Smart Tracking. In combination with a 110dB siren and flashing floodlights, this security camera deters any unwanted visitor. This 5 megapixel camera also offers good security at night thanks to the 4 night vision modes; 1. Smart Night Vision: When it gets dark, the camera uses infrared to display grayscale images. As soon as the camera detects a person, the built-in spots are activated to record in color. 2. Color night vision: When it gets dark, the camera activates the built-in floodlights for color images. 3. Infrared night vision: When it gets dark, the camera uses infrared for grayscale images. 4. Two-way conversation
Upon detection, the Cruiser 2 immediately sends a notification via the smartphone. Two-way conversation allows listening and responding to what is being observed. The Cruiser 2 security camera has a built-in speaker and microphone to immediately anticipate an event. In case of unwanted visitors, you can also choose to activate the siren via the Imou Life app.
Installation
Download the Imou Life app (iOS, Android or Windows) and create an Imou account. After logging in, select the ''''''''+'''''''' sign at the top right of the Imou app to add a camera. Scan the QR code on the camera and follow the steps in the app. Next, select the Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) and make sure the camera is close to the router during the setup process. The camera is ready to use in no time! For recording images you can opt for the Imou Cloud service, but also for local storage by using a MicroSD card or an Imou NVR.
