When the PoE budget is exceeded , the switch will start disconnecting the PoE ports from the highest numbered one until the sum of loads does not exceed the available budget while keeping the remaining ports intact.

The port(s) that will be disconnected will remain in this state until the PoE load decreases.

- This functionality is primarily dedicated to demanding applications that emphasize safety and continuity of operation, requiring some devices to work continuously regardless of the situation.

In such cases, Lanberg switches will help the user to safeguard sensitive devices by connecting them to the port with the lowest number.

Extend Mode Up To 250 Meters With Vlan:- By default, the standard switches ensure that the devices can operate at distances of up to 100 m on a single Ethernet cable.

However, sometimes, it turns out that a unique solution beyond the standard is required when developing cabling and network structure due to the extensive core network and complex environment.

In the case of surveillance systems, this is quite a common problem, resulting from the too-long distance between the distribution device and the end-device.

10 Mbps) and PoE+ power supply up to 250 m on a single cable section with a function of PoE ports separation (VLAN).

Just toggle the switch position to „PoE+ Extend 250 m´´ on the housing to ensure the long-distance operation and separation for ports 1 ~ 16.
