Guts embarks on a journey with the aim of taking revenge on the God Hand - which Griffith has joined after becoming the figure of Femto - and his apostles.

When he arrives at a village near the Valley of Mist, covered all year round by a dense fog, the Black Swordsman saves Jill, a young girl who had been kidnapped by a gang of thugs while wandering through the forest fleeing from her father and his former comrades in arms, who abused her.

Jill´s village suffers from time to time the attack of a group of elves who devour not only livestock, but also human beings.

After proving that they are not really elves, but diabolical creatures, Guts sets out to exterminate them!
