PANINI Gantz:E 07

Dive back into the brutal, high-stakes world of historical sci-fi with Gantz:E 07, the electrifying continuation of the acclaimed spin-off from the universe created by Hiroya Oku. Published by Panini Comics, this volume plunges you deeper into the Edo period, where samurai warriors are forced to fight grotesque aliens in a deadly, futuristic game. If you thought the battle against the Senju Kannon was the peak of the chaos, prepare for the shocking and treacherous aftermath.

In this crucial seventh installment, the illusion of peace is shattered almost as soon as it begins. After a hard-won victory against the terrifying Senju Kannon, Hanbee and his surviving companions are returned to their daily lives. Each attempts to resume a peaceful routine, clinging to the remnants of their former existence. However, the psychological and physical scars of the Gantz game run deep, and normalcy is a luxury they can no longer afford. The truth is that a sinister presence now lurks in their midst: another identity now resides within Sutezô, that of the Senju Kannon herself, creating a ticking time bomb of internal and external conflict.

Just as the team grapples with this horrifying new reality, the bonds of loyalty and love begin to fray. A serious divergence arises between the skilled swordsman Masakichi and the noble Princess Yukihime, a rift so profound that it cannot be ignored. Their once-unbreakable harmony is broken, casting a shadow of doubt and mistrust over the entire group. Despite this internal turmoil, the relentless black sphere shows no mercy. Just as their personal world collapses, they are recruited again, summoned for the next harrowing mission. Can a team fractured by secrets and betrayal possibly survive another encounter with the unknown?

This volume masterfully blends visceral action with deep character drama, exploring themes of identity, loyalty, and survival against impossible odds. Witness the stunning artwork of Keita Iizuka and the gripping narrative by Jin Kagetsu as they expand upon Hiroya Oku´s iconic world.
