SENNHEISER MKE 200 Directional On-Camera Microphone

Elevate your video content with the audio quality it deserves. The SENNHEISER MKE 200 is a compact, directional on-camera microphone designed for vloggers, content creators, and mobile journalists who demand clarity and presence in their sound. If you´ve been frustrated by the muffled, unfocused audio from your camer´s or smartphone´s built-in microphone, the MKE 200 is your simple, effective solution for achieving a professional-sounding production. It´s time to ensure your audience hears your story as clearly as they see it.

Experience the power of directional audio. The MKE 200 features a super-cardioid capsule that masterfully focuses on the sound directly in front of the camera. This highly directional pickup pattern is engineered to isolate your voice or subject, bringing it forward with rich detail and definition. It simultaneously rejects distracting, off-axis noise from the sides and rear, dramatically cleaning up your audio track and eliminating the ambient chatter, traffic, or room echo that can ruin a great take. This focused approach ensures your viewers are locked into your message, not the distractions around you.

Engineered for clean audio in any environment, the MKE 200 boasts clever, integrated protection against the two most common audio issues: wind and handling noise. An internal windscreen is built directly into the microphone´s housing, providing an effective barrier against light wind and air movement without the need for a bulky external foam cover. Furthermore, the microphone capsule features an internal shock mount, or suspension, which decouples it from the camera body. This brilliant design minimizes any structure-borne noise, such as vibrations from camera operation, autofocus motor hum, or general handling, ensuring your audio remains pure and free from disruptive rumbles.

Designed for the modern creator, the MKE 200 embodies convenience and a streamlined workflow. Its incredibly compact and lightweight design ensures it will never be a burden on your camera rig. It stays low-profile, preventing it from accidentally appearing in the frame, even when using wide-angle lenses. This sleek form factor is matched by its effortless, battery-free operation. The microphone is powered directly by the plug-in power from your camera or mobile device, meaning you never have to worry about charging batteries or having a recording session cut short. It is always on and always ready to capture great sound the moment you are. This grab-and-go readiness makes it the perfect companion for capturing spontaneous moments with uncompromised quality. The MKE 200 is the ideal audio upgrade that seamlessly integrates into your creative process, providing a massive leap in audio fidelity without adding complexity
