The latest generation of quick-release chuck design, with rods lifted and snapped into place within 15 seconds, saving setup time and effort. This innovative system allows for rapid deployment and breakdown, making it the perfect companion for fast-paced shoots, location work, and studios where flexibility is paramount. Spend less time assembling gear and more time capturing the perfect shot.

At the heart of the RA-D120 is its commitment to pristine light quality. The interior is meticulously crafted to deliver exceptional performance. Industrial-grade double-lining Oxford cloth with highly-reflective coating makes the light more even and softer while retaining its original CT and CRI. This ensures that the light from your strobe or LED remains color-accurate, preventing unwanted color shifts and saving you valuable time in post-production. The result is a broad, gentle, and consistent illumination that beautifully flatters your subjects.

The unique deep parabolic design and multi-sided construction are key to achieving its signature lighting effect. The 16-sided shape of the softbox imparts a wraparound light quality with deep and large falloff. This structure creates a focused yet soft beam that minimizes harsh shadows and produces natural, aesthetically pleasing, circular catchlights in your subject´s eyes—a hallmark of high-end portraiture. The deep profile provides excellent control over light spill, allowing you to direct the illumination precisely where you need it.

Built with the demands of a professional environment in mind, the RA-D120 features a universal Bowens mount, offering broad compatibility with a wide array of strobes, flashes, and continuous LED lights from numerous brands. This versatility ensures that the softbox can be seamlessly integrated into your existing lighting kit. Its robust construction guarantees reliability and durability, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of frequent use on set and on the road. For filmmakers and photographers who demand control, quality, and speed, the SMALLRIG RA-D120 Parabolic Softbox is an indispensable tool for mastering light and unlocking new creative possibilities
