Smallrig 4463 Kit AD-120 Tripod

Elevate your filmmaking and video production with the SMALLRIG FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit AD-120 (4463). Engineered for professional videographers, content creators, and broadcasters who demand uncompromising stability, speed, and precision, this tripod system is the ultimate foundation for capturing flawless, cinematic footage. Its robust yet lightweight carbon fiber construction provides superior rigidity and vibration absorption, ensuring your shots remain steady even with heavy camera rigs, while being significantly lighter than aluminum alternatives for easier transport to and from your location.

Experience unparalleled efficiency on set with the revolutionary one-key locking mechanism. This patented SMALLRIG design allows you to lock and unlock all leg sections simultaneously with a single, quick-release lever on each leg. This means you can deploy the tripod from its folded state to your desired height in mere seconds, saving valuable time during fast-paced shoots and eliminating the hassle of adjusting multiple locks individually. The three-section legs offer a versatile height range, extending from a practical 99 cm (39 in) for standard shots up to an impressive 197 cm (77.5 in), enabling you to capture everything from low-angle perspectives to shots high above crowds.

At the heart of the AD-120 kit is the professional DH10 fluid video head, designed for silky-smooth camera movements. The head features a stepless damping system for both pan and tilt axes, giving you precise, granular control over the resistance to achieve buttery-smooth pans and flawless, judder-free tilts. The adjustable 8 kg counterbalance system perfectly offsets the weight of your camera setup, preventing unwanted tilting and allowing you to let go of the handle without the camera dipping. This ensures balanced, stable shots throughout the entire range of motion. The head is mounted on a 75mm bowl, allowing for rapid and accurate leveling on uneven terrain.

Versatility is paramount in modern production workflows, and the AD-120 excels in compatibility. The included quick-release plate features a dual-mode design, making it natively compatible with both the Manfrotto 501PL standard and the DJI RS series gimbals (RS 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro). This incredible feature allows you to seamlessly switch your camera between the tripod and your DJI gimbal in an instant, without ever needing to swap plates. The system boasts a substantial maximum payload capacity of 10 kg (22 lbs), confidently supporting a wide range of professional cinema cameras, DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras equipped with cages, long lenses, and other accessories. For maximum stability on any surface, the tripod includes interchangeable wide rubber feet for flat surfaces and metal spiked feet for gripping soft or uneven ground. A durable, custom-fit carrying bag is also included for protection and convenient transportation
