Elevate your mobile filmmaking with the SMALLRIG 4779 Universal SSD Mount, the essential accessory for content creators and videographers utilizing the power of smartphones like the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Designed to solve the challenge of limited internal storage when shooting high-resolution video formats like Apple ProRes, this mount provides a secure, stable, and professional solution for attaching an external SSD directly to your phone cage. Unlock the full potential of your mobile device and record for extended periods without interruption, ensuring you never miss the perfect shot due to a "storage full" notification. This mount is meticulously engineered to integrate seamlessly into your rig, offering a streamlined and efficient workflow for both professional and enthusiast videographers.

The core benefit of the 4779 mount is the absolute peace of mind it provides. Its robust clamping mechanism ensures your valuable SSD is held firmly in place, preventing accidental disconnections or drops that could lead to data loss or drive damage, even during dynamic shooting scenarios. The design is both intelligent and protective; built-in silicone pads within the clamp grip your SSD securely while also absorbing shocks and vibrations and preventing any scratches on the drive´s casing. This thoughtful construction allows you to focus on your creative vision, confident that your recording media is safe. Its lightweight yet durable aluminum alloy construction adds minimal weight to your setup, maintaining the portability and agility that are hallmarks of mobile content creation.

Versatility is central to the design. The mount features multiple mounting options, including standard 1/4"-20 threaded holes and an integrated cold shoe mount. This allows for flexible positioning on your phone cage, camera cage, or any rig, and enables you to attach other accessories like microphones or lights, creating a compact and fully-featured production powerhouse. The tool-free, spring-loaded clamp makes setup and breakdown incredibly fast and efficient, saving you precious time on set.
