SOLID STATE LOGIC SSL 2+ Audio Interface

Capture your creativity with the legendary sound of Solid State Logic. The SSL 2+ USB Audio Interface brings the iconic analogue character and professional audio fidelity of world-renowned SSL consoles into your personal studio. For over four decades, Solid State Logic has been the gold standard in music production, powering countless hit records. Now, you can infuse your own recordings—whether you´re a musician, producer, or content creator—with that same revered sonic signature. The SSL 2+ is meticulously engineered to provide the perfect centerpiece for your home or project studio, delivering a superior recording and monitoring experience that elevates your productions from the very start.

At the heart of the SSL 2+ is the unique "Legacy 4K" mode. This is more than just a simple button; it´s your access to the authentic soul of the classic SSL 4000 series console. With a single press, you can instantly engage an all-analogue enhancement circuit that introduces a subtle, musical high-frequency EQ boost and finely-tuned harmonic distortion. This magical combination adds a distinctive analogue punch and sparkle to any source, helping vocals cut through a mix with presence, making guitars sound more vibrant, and giving synths and drum machines an undeniable energy. It’s the secret ingredient for transforming clean, digital recordings into polished, radio-ready tracks with genuine analogue personality.

The foundation of any great recording is a pristine signal path, and the SSL 2+ excels with its two class-leading, SSL-designed microphone preamps. These preamps offer exceptional performance, providing an incredible amount of clean gain with an impressively low noise floor. This means you can capture every subtle nuance of a delicate vocal performance, the full dynamic range of an acoustic instrument, or the raw power of a guitar amplifier with breathtaking clarity and detail. The interface provides the headroom and fidelity needed to make your sources sound their absolute best before you even touch a single plug-in.

Designed for the modern creative, the SSL 2+ offers an expanded feature set for superior workflow and monitoring flexibility. It goes beyond the standard with four outputs, allowing for connections to two separate sets of monitors or for creating independent artist cue mixes using the powerful, high-current headphone outputs. The easy-to-use Monitor Mix control lets you effortlessly blend your live input with the playback from your computer, achieving perfect, zero-latency monitoring while recording. Furthermore, the inclusion of MIDI I/O provides a direct connection for your synthesizers, drum machines, and keyboard controllers, seamlessly integrating your hardware into your digital production environment. Built with professional-grade components, including Neutrik connectors and Alps pots, all housed in a rugged, desktop-friendly chassis, the Solid State Logic SSL 2+ is your gateway to achieving the professional studio sound you´ve always aspired to
