How to check the firmware of the SONOFF Plus dongle and update it? You can use the official Sonoff Dongle Quick Flasher web tool to check the installed firmware version and update the device to the latest available version.

How to flash the Zigbee Plus dongle as a Router? The Zigbee Plus dongle comes pre-installed with coordinator firmware, so it can be used to manage Zigbee devices, but it cannot be added to another Zigbee gateway.

This is because the Zigbee protocol only allows one coordinator per network.

If you need to extend Zigbee signal coverage, you can install router firmware using the Sonoff Dongle Quick Flasher tool.
