The Future of Cinematic Storytelling in a Compact Camera Enter a new era of filmmaking with the Sony FX30B, a powerful Super 35 format camera that places the magic of cinematic expression directly into your hands.

As part of Sony´s prestigious Cinema Line, the FX30B inherits a rich legacy of digital cinematography technology, skillfully engineered into a remarkably compact and lightweight body.

It is the ideal tool for aspiring filmmakers, content creators, and solo videographers seeking to elevate their visual storytelling with uncompromising quality and creative freedom.

Unleash True Cinematic Image Quality At the core of the FX30B lies a newly developed back-illuminated 20.1 MP (effective for video) APS-C Exmor R™ CMOS sensor.

This Super 35 format sensor is the industry standard for motion pictures, delivering an authentic cinematic look with beautiful depth of field.

Capture every scene with breathtaking detail and richness by recording in 4K resolution, oversampled from 6K, for incredible clarity and fidelity.

Experience the renowned S-Cinetone™ picture profile, inherited from high-end models like the VENICE, to achieve stunning, natural-looking colors and skin tones straight out of the camera with no grading required.

For maximum post-production flexibility, engage the Dual Base ISO (800/2500) and shoot in S-Log3 to unlock the camer´s full potential, capturing an expansive 14+ stops of dynamic range.

Precision Autofocus That Never Fails Stay focused on your story, not your focus pulling.

The Sony FX30B features a sophisticated and reliable Fast Hybrid AF system.

Powered by the BIONZ XR™ processor, its Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking are phenomenally accurate, tenaciously locking onto the eyes of humans, animals, or birds and maintaining sharp focus even as they move unpredictably.

Whether you´re shooting an interview, a dynamic action sequence, or wildlife, you can trust the autofocus to deliver critically sharp results, allowing you to concentrate on your composition and creativity.

Fluid Motion and Unwavering Stability Bring a dynamic and professional feel to your footage with high-frame-rate recording and advanced stabilization.

The FX30B empowers you to create mesmerizing slow-motion sequences by capturing 4K video at up to 120 frames per second.

For handheld, run-and-gun shooting, the 5-axis in-body optical image stabilization provides exceptional compensation for camera shake.

For the most challenging situations, Active Mode offers an even higher level of digital stabilization, ensuring your shots remain smooth and steady, even while walking.

Designed for the Modern Creator The FX30B is a compact camera built for professional workflow.

Its cage-free design features multiple 1/4-20 threaded mounting points for directly attaching accessories, streamlining your rig.

A key feature for advanced filmmakers is the ability to import and apply custom user LUTs (Look Up Tables), allowing you to preview your final graded look on set and embed it into the footage for a more efficient post-production process.

This camera seamlessly integrates into a professional environment, providing the power and flexibility needed to bring any creative vision to life.
