To provide power flexibility in different applications, the USB-C multiport adapter can operate using bus power alone, or it can be connected to an external USB-C power adapter up to 100W.

The adapter features 100W Power Delivery 3.0 pass through, enabling you to charge your laptop and connected devices.

When connected to a power adapter up to 92W of power are available for charging, while 8W of power are reserved for the USB-C multiport adapter, this power reserve avoids video flickering and device dropouts, caused by overdrawing power, common in other hubs, ensuring this adapter provides high-performance operation, while reliably charging your devices.

When a power adapter isn´t connected, this adapter operates using USB bus power, and the USB-C port where you connect your power adapter turns into a downstream 5Gbps USB Type-C port for connecting USB-C peripheral devices.

Note:The adapter will not be as effective at charging downstream devices, when a USB-C power adapter is not connected.
