BONES V1 X-Formula 99A Skateboard Wheels: Redefine Your Ride

Experience the next evolution in skateboard wheel technology with the BONES V1 X-Formula 99A Wheels. Born from the legendary Bones Wheels factory, these wheels are engineered to solve the age-old dilemma for skaters: the choice between a soft, smooth ride and a hard, fast slide. With the revolutionary X-Formula, you no longer have to compromise. This is the all-in-one wheel you´ve been waiting for, designed for unparalleled performance on any terrain you dare to conquer.

The amazing new X-Formula (XF) is another industry-leading innovation from the Bones Wheels factory, representing a true breakthrough in performance. The core benefit of this unique formula is its incredible versatility. The X-Formula rolls over rough terrain like softer wheels, absorbing jarring vibrations from cracks, pebbles, and weathered pavement, giving you a cushioned and comfortable ride that saves your feet and preserves your speed. However, when it’s time to perform, it glides, grinds, and slides with the crisp, responsive feel of a much harder wheel. This dual-performance characteristic means you can cruise smoothly through the city streets to the skatepark and then lock into grinds and execute flawless slides without ever switching your setup.

Engineered for All-Around Dominance

Every aspect of the BONES V1 X-Formula wheel is meticulously designed for the modern all-around skater. The V1 Standard shape provides the perfect balance of radius, width, and speed, delivering the best all-round performance imaginable. This classic, time-tested shape is neither too wide nor too narrow, offering a stable platform for landings while remaining lightweight and responsive for technical flip tricks. It´s the ideal choice for skaters who session everything from street spots and skate plazas to concrete bowls and wooden ramps.

With a 99A durometer, these wheels hit the sweet spot for hardness, but the X-Formula transforms what that number truly means. While a standard 99A wheel can feel unforgiving on rough surfaces, the X-Formula’s unique properties provide significant vibration dampening. This results in a faster roll, higher rebound for more speed out of turns, and a softer landing, all while maintaining the ability to slide predictably and with total control. It´s the performance of a hard wheel with the feel of a soft one.
