FIX MFG The Kraken Surf Multi-Tool

Never let a minor equipment issue ruin a perfect day of waves again. The FIX MFG The Kraken is the definitive all-in-one pocket tool designed for every surfer, from the weekend warrior to the seasoned globetrotter. This compact powerhouse ensures you are always prepared, putting a complete maintenance and repair kit right at your fingertips. It’s all the tools you need to get dialed in before hitting the water. Be ready for any situation, whether you´re swapping fins for different conditions, performing a quick repair, or simply prepping your board for maximum performance. The ingenious design allows you to spend less time fumbling with gear and more time in the lineup.

At its core, The Kraken is a surfer’s toolbox. Fold the wax comb and scraper out to reveal a surfer’s toolbox. This central function allows you to maintain perfect wax application for optimal grip and easily remove old wax for a clean slate. Beyond board prep, this tool excels at fin management. Choose from several screwdrivers to install fins on longboards or shortboards, with a dedicated Phillips screwdriver, a slotted screwdriver, and a universal hex fin key to cover virtually any fin system you might encounter. This versatility means you only need to carry one tool, regardless of what board you´re riding.

Where The Kraken truly sets itself apart is in its problem-solving capabilities. Use the easy-out or re-threader for stubborn fin box problems. We´ve all been there: a stripped fin screw that refuses to budge can end a session before it even starts. The specialized easy-out is engineered to remove stripped screws, saving your board and your day. For worn-out or damaged fin box threads, the re-threader tool (to chase plastic threads only) cleans and realigns the threading, ensuring your fins can be secured tightly once again. There’s even an extra leash string included, because a broken one shouldn´t mean a long swim back to shore. A handy leash cord feeder and removal pick makes the often-frustrating task of changing a leash cord simple and quick.

Built for the harsh marine environment, the entire tool features a durable black oxide finish for maximum life around salt water, preventing corrosion and ensuring reliability for years to come. Its clever, foldable design makes it incredibly portable. Carry it as a keychain so it´s always with you, or look for Payload Pocket™ compatible accessories for seamless integration with other FIX MFG carry solutions. And for that perfect end to a great session, a built-in bottle opener is ready for your post-surf refreshment. Stop carrying a messy bag of loose tools and streamline your setup with The Kraken.
