An Authentic Piece of Skate History

The G-Bones are more than just a set of wheels; they are a rolling artifact of skateboarding culture. Designed by the visionary George Powell in 1988, The ´´G´´ Bones were created to fill the 64mm slot once held by the iconic Cubic wheel. This design instantly became a favorite for its versatility and performance. The enduring artwork on the wheel was created by the legendary Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ) and was one of his last contributions before his departure from the company in 1989. Furthermore, the graphics were applied using pad printing, a new and revolutionary technology at the time for printing wheel graphics, ensuring a crisp and durable finish that set a new standard.

Performance Built for the Park and Beyond

The performance of the G-Bones is centered around its perfectly balanced specifications. The 64mm diameter provides exceptional speed and momentum, allowing you to glide effortlessly over rough surfaces and maintain velocity through long carves. Paired with a wide 42mm profile, these wheels offer a stable and confidence-inspiring platform for locking into grinds and holding lines on vertical transitions.

The 97a hardness, powered by the proven SBA formula, hits the absolute sweet spot for skatepark and transition skating. It provides a fast, responsive roll on smooth surfaces while retaining just enough grip to feel secure and predictable during aggressive turns and maneuvers. The smooth wheel surface ensures a consistent and predictable contact patch from the very first ride, delivering a fluid feel that is perfect for the flowing lines of park skating. The classic G-BONES shape is not just for looks; its profile is engineered for optimal performance in the environments it was designed to conquer.
