Abysstar Rubber belt

ABYSSTAR Rubber Weight Belt for Diving & Freediving

Achieve perfect buoyancy and unparalleled stability on every underwater excursion with the ABYSSTAR Rubber Weight Belt. Expertly engineered for the discerning diver, this essential piece of equipment from our Diving Weight Systems collection is the ultimate choice for scuba diving, freediving, spear fishing, and even advanced snorkeling. Its superior design ensures your weights stay exactly where you need them, allowing you to focus on the beauty of the aquatic world without distraction.

The ABYSSTAR belt redefines comfort and performance in a weight system. Unlike traditional nylon belts that can slip and shift during a dive, the unique properties of the rubber material provide exceptional grip against your wetsuit. This is especially critical for freediving and spear fishing, where a head-down descent and wetsuit compression can cause other belts to ride up your torso. The ABYSSTAR Rubber belt contracts with your suit as you descend, maintaining a constant, snug fit on your hips for a streamlined and hydrodynamic profile.

Made from durable rubber material for flexibility and comfort during dives.

Features a quick-release buckle for easy fastening and removal, enhancing safety.

Adjustable length to fit various waist sizes, ensuring a secure fit for all users.

Enhanced Safety and Ease of Use

Safety is paramount in any diving activity. The ABYSSTAR belt is equipped with a classic and reliable Marseillaise-style quick-release buckle. This proven design allows for single-handed, instantaneous ditching of your weights in an emergency, providing critical peace of mind. The buckle is robust and easy to operate, even when wearing thick dive gloves, ensuring you are always in control. The belt´s simple yet effective threading system allows for quick addition or removal of lead weights, making pre-dive setup and post-dive breakdown a breeze.

Versatility Across Disciplines

Whether you´re exploring a deep wreck, hunting in the shallows, or performing static apnea, the ABYSSTAR Rubber belt adapts to your needs. Its robust construction is built to withstand the harsh conditions of saltwater and sun exposure, promising years of reliable service. For the scuba diver, it offers a comfortable alternative to integrated BCD weights, distributing the load around the hips for better trim. For the spearfisher and freediver, its non-slip performance is a game-changer, eliminating the need for constant mid-dive adjustments.
