APEKS VX1 Diving Mask

Discover the pinnacle of underwater vision and comfort with the APEKS VX1, a premium single-lens mask engineered for the discerning adult diver. The new VX1 is the ultimate in diving mask comfort. Lightweight, frameless and with a Pure Clear lens for maximum optical clarity, it sets a new standard for your underwater adventures. Designed for both men and women, this mask is the perfect companion for everything from recreational scuba diving to demanding technical explorations.

The revolutionary frameless construction is the heart of the VX1´s design. This innovation creates an exceptionally lightweight and low-volume mask that sits closer to your face, expanding your field of view. The reduced internal volume makes it incredibly easy to clear and equalise, conserving your energy and allowing you to focus on the dive. Whether you´re a novice or a seasoned professional, you will appreciate the effortless performance and minimal drag in the water.

Experience the underwater world in its true, vibrant colours through the crystal-clear transparent lens. The VX1 features a Pure Clear lens that provides maximum optical clarity with absolutely no distortion. This technology ensures a brighter, more vivid view, allowing you to see every detail of the marine environment exactly as it is, which is especially crucial for underwater photographers and videographers.

Unparalleled comfort, even on the longest dives, is guaranteed by the advanced skirt geometry. Meticulously designed to minimise facial pressure points, the VX1´s skirt distributes pressure evenly, preventing the fatigue and marking often associated with extended time underwater. This is further enhanced by the premium, surgical-grade solid black silicone, which features a combination of matte and gloss areas. This dual-texture finish not only feels superb against the skin but also creates a superior seal, improving fit and preventing leaks for a wide range of face shapes.

Adjusting your mask has never been easier, thanks to the state-of-the-art Quick Release Buckles. Integrated directly onto the skirt for improved stability, these buckles feature stainless-steel rollers that allow for smooth, precise micro-adjustments to achieve the perfect fit. This intuitive system is simple to operate, even while wearing thick dry gloves, ensuring your mask remains secure and comfortable throughout your dive. The VX1 comes ready for any condition, supplied with both a comfortable silicone mask strap and an additional neoprene strap for enhanced comfort, all protected within a durable, reusable zipped case.

The vx1 is without a doubt the best framless mask I have ever used. Excellent adaptability to the shape of the face, wide and very sharp field of view (mine with blue lenses) unquestionably superior quality materials in typical apeks style

Dani

Hello, I´m seeing that there are like two lenses, the gray UV and the amber lens, does it refer to the glass or the color of the mascara? Thank you.

Answer of MYKHAILO

It’s better to take a mask with yellow glass, it adds brightness to the image

Answer of Abdulaziz

It is only 2 types either the UV (which is the amber) or the clear lens Also, in my opinion the UV is nice if you are spending alot of time above the water like if you are an instructor and spending time with the students otherwise I would recommend the clear mask
