Apeks XTX 40 2nd stage regulator

APEKS XTX40 2nd Stage Regulator: High-Performance Diving

Experience high performance with the APEKS XTX40 2nd Stage Regulator. Though mid-range, it rivals top models. Featuring a pneumatically-balanced second stage for effortless breathing, large 2-stage progressive purge for controlled airflow, and a soft-touch venturi lever for reduced grit ingress. Its innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) system allows customization for minimal bubble interference or compact comfort. Enjoy the benefits of braided flexi-hoses, coldwater compatibility, and MRSA-resistant construction. The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece and patented heat exchanger enhance comfort and performance. This regulator offers excellent value with Free Parts for Life.

Superior Breathing Performance at Any Depth

The heart of the XTX40 is its pneumatically-balanced second stage, a feature that guarantees a smooth, easy breath regardless of your depth or cylinder pressure. This advanced system significantly reduces breathing effort, allowing you to conserve energy and enjoy a more relaxed and comfortable dive. Whether you are exploring a shallow reef or venturing deeper, the XTX40 delivers consistent, high-level performance you can trust.

Full Diver Control and Customization

Take complete command of your dive with the regulator´s intelligent design features. The large, easy-to-operate 2-stage progressive purge button offers unparalleled control; a gentle press provides a low flow rate perfect for clearing a small amount of water or adjusting buoyancy, while a full press delivers a powerful purge to clear the regulator completely. The ergonomic, soft-touch venturi lever is designed to prevent accidental freeflow on the surface and provides a performance boost at depth. A key innovation is the Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) system, which includes two different exhaust tees. Choose the wider tee to disperse bubbles away from your field of view—ideal for photographers—or opt for the narrower, more compact tee for a lightweight, travel-friendly setup. This regulator can also be configured from a right-handed to a left-handed hose setup by any authorized APEKS technician for ultimate routing flexibility.

Designed for Comfort and Extreme Conditions

Every detail of the APEKS XTX40 is engineered for diver comfort and robust reliability. The regulator is fully approved for coldwater use, thanks to a highly efficient, patented heat exchanger that surrounds the valve mechanism. This feature draws warmth from the surrounding water to drastically reduce the risk of freezing and freeflow incidents in frigid environments. For enhanced comfort, the exclusive Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece features a soft yet durable silicone bridge that fits over the upper palate, virtually eliminating the jaw fatigue often experienced with standard mouthpieces. Furthermore, key plastic components and the mouthpiece are produced with an active additive that is resistant to MRSA, protecting against microbes and ensuring a higher level of hygiene throughout the life of the product.
