Streamline Your Dive with the AQUALUNG Rev 2 Hoseless Transmitter

Experience a new level of freedom and awareness on every dive with the AQUALUNG Rev 2 Transmitter. Designed for the modern diver who values an uncluttered, efficient setup, this advanced accessory revolutionizes how you interact with your essential dive data. Aqua Lung’s Transmitters, used in conjunction with a compatible wrist computer, allow you to monitor current pressure and air time remaining without a stiff high pressure hose, while providing a more streamlined profile. By eliminating the traditional high-pressure hose, you reduce potential snag points, decrease drag in the water, and gain unparalleled freedom of movement. This seamless integration transforms your compatible Aqua Lung dive computer into a comprehensive, at-a-glance information hub, placing your most critical tank data directly on your wrist for constant, effortless monitoring.

The Rev 2 Transmitter is engineered for ultimate reliability and user convenience. It establishes a robust and secure connection to your dive computer, delivering real-time gas pressure information that is crucial for calculating your remaining air time. This allows you to dive with greater confidence, knowing your most vital statistics are being tracked accurately and are always just a glance away. Focus more on the stunning underwater world around you and less on managing your gear. Whether you´re exploring a vibrant coral reef, navigating a complex wreck, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the deep, the Rev 2 Transmitter enhances your safety and overall dive experience by making information accessible and your gear configuration cleaner and more hydrodynamic.

Key Features:

* Hoseless Air Pressure Transmission: Provides a clean, streamlined dive profile by wirelessly sending tank pressure data directly to your compatible Aqua Lung i450T or i770R dive computer.
* Permanent Pairing Technology: Once set, the transmitter is permanently paired with your specific dive computer. This critical safety feature prevents accidental pairing with other divers´ computers and eliminates signal cross-talk, ensuring you are always monitoring your own air supply.
* User-Changeable Battery: The transmitter is powered by a commercially available, user-replaceable battery, empowering you to perform your own maintenance. This eliminates the need for service center visits for simple battery changes, saving you time, money, and ensuring your gear is always dive-trip ready.

Technical Specifications:

* Nitrox compatible up to 40% O2 (the standard for recreational diving).
* 100% O2 compatible (ideal for technical divers and those using high-concentration oxygen for decompression)

A great addition to your computer. On the computer it shows very accurate readings. After downloading the data, it displays the amount of air on graphs. I wouldn't use it instead of a pressure gauge, but as an addition, yes.

It comes without a hose but it can be mounted directly on the first stage.

Gary

Does this transmitter come with a fitting hose, or do you have to order it separately?

Answer of Borut

It does not come with a fitting hose, but you don't need one. You can mount the transmitter directly to the first stage. If you want to fit the adapter on a short hose, you have to fit a small (1cm) adapter inside the hose. Buy the short hose at your local dive shop and let them fit the transmitter to your first stage properly.

Answer of Cziezerski

It comes without a hose. You screw it directly into a HP port on your 1st stage. If you buy a mil flex hose for it, remember to buy the small swivel part, too.

Answer of Quentin

This equipment is not supplied with the connection pipe nor with the small valve

Answer of eric

Hello, No need for a pipe, the probe connects directly to the first stage of the regulator on a high pressure part.

Answer of Gauthier

The probe screws directly onto one of the HP outputs of the 1st stage.

Answer of Hens

Supplied without hose, it may also fit directly on the first stage without a hose

Olivier

Hello, How to order the O2 version of the probe? On the site page you say "2 transmitter versions available: Nitrox compatible at 40% or 100% O2" but you cannot choose the O2 version anywhere. THANKS.

Answer of Cziezerski

It’s a separate item listing, it should have some green colour and is most likely more expensive, too. Try the search bar: “Aqualung Transmitter” https://www.tradeinn.com/diveinn/en/aqualung-transmitter/135953060/p

Rafal

Hello, I would like to know if this transmitter is also compatible with the Apeks DSX dive computer? Thank you in advance

Answer of kimmo

Works well with Shearwater Perdix Ai, Petrel 2 and Nerd 2. So yes, it is fully compatible with the Apeks DSX dive computer. The Apeks DSX uses the same transmission standard as brands like Aqua Lung, Oceanic, Shearwater (for their PPS-compatible models), and Hollis. Therefore, the Rev 2 transmitter will function exactly the same as the one marked with the Apeks logo.
