Being Cressi’s most complete diving fins series, Frog receives a considerable redesign in this edition to fully adapt itself to the new design philosophy of the Italian brand without losing its renowned strengths.

Manufactured by an innovative injection molding process that blends low-module polypropylene and two different types of elastomers, the Frog Plus have the perfect mix of flexibility and elasticity needed to increase energy transmission and offer greater structural rigidity. The ”foot pocket-under-blade” design directly fuses the fin to the foot to reduce energy loss and increase superficial power by up to 15%.

A reinforced foot pocket with three different volumes is able to fit the foot more accurately, nullifying energy dispersion even further. In addition, the Frog Plus elastic heel strap has been reinforced and oversized for additional comfort, while its 360° swiveling buckles allow a highly customizable grip and reduce the risk of breakage or accidental release.

A new fin that has been created for those who are trying scuba diving for the first time or who dive occasionally and want to perform long kicks and dives without any specific training.

The mix of materials that has been chosen for the blade guarantees an undemanding, fluid kick with reduced muscular effort.

However, in keeping with the Cressi tradition, when needed, the fin shows its remarkable character, capable of helping the diver in any situation.

Cressi has put more than sixty years of experience into designing this fin, using exclusive and patented moulding technology in three different materials.

The engineering plastic used for the blade has been carefully chosen to meet the needs of a specific section of the market that requires fins that are not too demanding and can be used without too much muscular effort, for prolonged periods.

With their easy kick they are a pleasure to use, regardless of the user’s level of training. They are ideal for those who are trying scuba diving for the first time but also for those who practise the sport occasionally.

The shoe pocket is positioned under the blade, a system that is now used by Cressi on all its models to guarantee a larger and more uniform surface area of the blade.

The shoe pocket, made from soft elastomers, is extraordinarily comfortable, making the fin easy to put on and take off, even in the water.

Along the perimeter of the blade there is a protective profile in elastomer and the adjustable buckles on the strap are anti-release.

If you have thin feet, I recommend wearing them with booties, since they'll move around quite a bit underwater. They offer good propulsion, and the closure is very comfortable so you can take them off underwater. I also think they're very pretty.

Great fins. I've dived with the normal frog before and often had problems with currents and waves on the surface. Propulsion was OK but the effort was just too great and I usually got a cramp in my calves on longer distances. I've never had that with the frog plus. The price is unbeatable too - just as good but only costs 1/3, which is why I now have 3 pairs :) I know a few diving schools that only use these fins.

I am happy with the fins but I ordered all my diving equipment from Cressi at Diveinn. I can't give the delivery a star because it wasn't delivered exactly as shown on the website for each item. Very long and bad delivery time without precise tracking. Unfortunately I missed my diving plan for my vacation. It says delivery will take 2-3 working days but it took more than 13 days.

I have owned a number of fins over the years. Recently, I had my ankle fused and found that my old Guls were cutting across my scar with and without a boot. The design of the Frog Plus is really comfortable on my affected ankle and excellent on the one that is not compromised. I have not yet taken them diving, but after 4 snorkel trips I am in love. I was surprised at the thurst and maneuverability and am really looking forward to taking them below for a real test. I'm pretty sure I will be just as impressed.

As expected with most open heal fins, be sure to wear booties or some kind of diving boot with these. I bought these fins in XS/S. I wear a 36/37 shoe size. Even with semi-rigid sole shoes. They are much too big and also much too wide. I also find them a little heavy. Impossible to get them to fit again. 2 years ago, I bought a Cressy full wetsuit. It was the same problem. So, a pair of fins and a wetsuit bought for nothing.

Maybe the problem can be solved with other shoes? I use the fins with SCUBAPRO Delta 5 mm and am very happy with them. The fins are ideal, especially for frog kicks, and offer great propulsion with very little effort.
