Being Cressi Elettronica’s second important project after the acclaimed Leonardo, the Giotto is an impressive diving computer that builds upon the already amazing performance of its predecessor, including many improvements better suited to technical diving practitioners. Keeping the ergonomic, lightweight design of its forebearer, the Giotto offers everything you would expect and more from the already legendary Italian firm.

Although the Giotto is 2 millimeters smaller in comparison to the Leonardo, its UFDS (User Friendly Display System) screen maintains the superb visibility that characterizes Cressi’s wrist computers. Three mode buttons - substituting Leonardo’s single button – make the act of navigating through the different Giotto diving programs easier.

To the Air, Nitrox and Gauge modes - the latter especially calibrated for salt water - a unique feature has been added to the Giotto: the possibility of handling two different gas mixtures in the same dive without any need for previous setups. In addition, the Giotto can analyze oxygen mixtures up to 90%, a major upgrade from the Leonardo.

Dual-mixture CRESSI RGBM algorithm.

New algorithm created through a collaboration between Cressi and Bruce Wienke based on the Haldane model, integrated with RGBM factors for safe decompression calculations in repetitive multi-day dives and with mixtures.

Software handles two different hyper-oxygenated mixtures, which can be selected during the dive.

Features:

- Tissues: 9 saturation half-times ranging from 2.5 to 480 minutes.

- ”Dive” Program: Full processing of dive data, including decompression if applicable, for every dive performed with Air or Nitrox.

- Full setting of FO2 parameters (oxygen percentage) and PO2 (oxygen partial pressure) with the option to set PO2 between 1.2 bar and 1.6 bar, and FO2 from 21% and 99%.

- Option to take a Nitrox dive after one with air (even while desaturating).

- Gage setting option (depth gauge and timer).

- Deep stop can be turned on or off.

- Replaceable protective display screen.

- User-replaceable batteries.

- Planning: decompression curve scrolling.

- User can switch units of measure from Metric (meters and C°) to Imperial (feet and F°).

- Visual and auditory alarms.

- Graphic CNS oxygen toxicity indicator.

- Backlit display

- Built-in calendar and clock.

- Log book (70 hr or 60 dives) complete with dive profile.

- Dive history saved.

- Option for full reset if needed, helpful when renting the device.

- PC/Mac interface with simulator and dive profile (NOT INCLUDED)

It's really a huge display so we can clearly see all the data with long good quality strap overall it's a good stuff unfortunately in my country there's a store sells cressi drake titanium with half price discount and the price is same as i bought cressi giotto in here

Excellent recreational computer for an intermediate level, update Giotto of a Leonardo and comparing them is a little more liberal in repetitive dive. The price is the cheapest I have found and worth every peso paid The only complaint I have of this computer is the screen light, it is very poor and it is difficult to read in night diving outside that is a great computer and I recommend 100 %. On Scubastore I found the best price fort his computer. I haven’t used it yet, but the reviews fort his dive computer are good if not excellent compared to other in this price range (zoop, puck pro…). Expect to get a large computer, with a long wrist strap. Computer solid in build. Would recommend.
