Product description of Cressi Gorilla Comando backpack

Description summary

The Cressi Gorilla Comando backpack, an evolution of the renowned Gorilla bag, is engineered for ultimate durability and functionality. Crafted from 7-tenths thick, laminated PVC Tarpaulin©, it boasts exceptional resistance to cuts, leaks, and is virtually 100% waterproof, safeguarding your gear and vehicle. Its padded base and adjustable harness with chest and lumbar straps ensure comfortable transport of even the heaviest loads. Features include a practical drainage system and a reinforced base for enhanced resilience. Perfectly sized for full dive kits and long fins, the Gorilla Comando is the definitive choice for transporting bulky equipment

What was probably the world’s best diving backpack receives an important update to demonstrate that it is still the most suitable option for carrying your diving equipment.

Manufactured in laminated, thermo-fused PVC Tarpaulin©, the Cressi Gorilla Comando backpack is truly built to last. With a 7 tenths’ thickness, the Gorilla Comando has exceptional resistance to cuts and leaks and is practically 100% waterproof.

To make it comfortable to use, this backpack has an adjustable harness with additional chest and lumbar straps. The Gorilla Comando’s base has also been padded to give it a softer feel and reduce discomfort when carrying heavy, cumbersome loads.

As additional amenities, the Gorilla Comando also includes a drainage system with unscrewing lock to facilitate the emptying of any residual water that may remain inside. Besides, the base has also been reinforced with an additional 1.2 mm thick thermo-welded sheet to prevent breakage and cuts against rocks or sharp edges on the ground.

Gorilla Command is the evolution of the Gorilla bag version, the Cressi professional use bag that keeps together the technical, construction and assembly but backpacking format. Perfect for transporting long fins and bulky equipment.

It is made of PVC tarpaulin I resistant laminate by high frequency heat welding 7´ thickness: practically 100% watertight and, therefore, not convenient to wet the trunk of the vehicle.

Features:

- Reinforced adjustable harness with suspenders 40mm., adjustable chest strap and lap strap.
- It has two strong handles welded at each end, very useful for transportation, especially when the bag is heavily loaded, and one-shoulder handle with carabiners and particularly resistant accessories allowing very heavy loads system.
- Its size (90cm x 38cm x 32cm) is ideal for adding a full team even longer flippers or apnea.

very good quality, this bag holds all your gear, and it is not only practical for spearfishing, but also if you have to access remote areas, where you have to walk long distances, with all your scuba gear to the dive site. this bag, is very easy to clean, and have a very comfortable harness like on a rucksack. if you use the watertight closure at the top in the accurate way, you can jump in the water from the boat and swim ashore without a single drop, of water coming inside the bag! i bought two of these bags, one for me, and one for my wife, and we have used them extensively this summer!

The product is the same as in the picture but not the same as in the description. The first time I contact their technicians return and say that the product matches the picture, but in the Danish version of the description says that there is a zip at the top as well as a waterproof pocket. It is not there and the second time they approve the return on their bill. At the same time I ask for a product that matches the description but here is no response. It is clear that these are automated responses and thus not very customer friendly. I do not want to shop here again regardless of the quality of the products.

It is the best bag when going to fish. The 80cm fins also enter easily and there are many other tools. However, it is better to wrap around the waist and move it, as it will cause you to lose strings if you use weights. It is saved because it is not the size in Japan.

Received the package 2 days in advance. The backpack is really large and robust. I put in a technical Gav with a 3.5 kilo plate, fins, regulator, wet suit, 2 masks and is full for 2/3. With adjustable and padded shoulder straps, even a load of 25/30 pounds can be carried effortlessly and when you arrive by boat, you can put it in any corner without problems. An excellent purchase at the lowest price on the market. Scubastore then ... utmost seriousness.
