Manufactured with Cressi´s patented molding technology in three materials, the Reaction EBS has a full polypropylene blade whose design, inherited from apnea fins, combines in its structure high reactivity, a superior effort-performance ratio to equivalent materials and a great wear resistance that has made the Italian house to guarantee its use for life.

A flexible elastomer foot pocket, integrated directly into the blade, channels all the flapping energy from the ankle to the very end of the blade, providing 10% to 15% more power in comparison to other designs. Double elastomer lateral nerves, extending from the foot pocket, give the Reaction EBS fully controlled structure and flexion.

The 360º EBS elastic bungee system with locking strap buckles found on the Reaction EBS is made of pure, highly elastic latex, which can grow up to 8 times its original size without breaking and gives the foot a simple, precise fit, also reducing the spring effect and the consequent loss of momentum.

Cressi’s most technically advanced fin, the Reaction uses a completely new polypropylene blade material that is more reactive, flexible and trim than previous designs. It kicks easily yet powerfully and is suitable for divers of every experience level.

The new, longer blade efficiently transfers energy from the computer-designed foot pocket, and like other Cressi fins, the blade extends from the top of the foot pocket to maximize its effective surface area for more thrust. Other innovations include new locking strap buckles and no-slip material for better traction out of the water.

NEW EBS STRAP:

Cressi has developed this special strap to meet the needs of the most demanding divers, who need a comfortable fastening for their foot but one that is still practical and manageable. Its special amply sized slot makes it very easy to put on, even when wearing thick gloves or three-fingered gloves for winter water.

The wrapping section is highly flexible, making adjustments unnecessary, and as a result it’s much easier to get all your equipment right in the first few meters of your descent and the fin stays in place against your foot despite the increase in hydrostatic pressure.

These fins arrived today, a little slow in despatch and delivery but not a problem. You can immediately feel the quality of the build and the yellow is a strikingly beautiful design. I bought these with 3mm socks and am size UK 42 shoe. The fins are sold as 42-44 but are actually 41-44 and fit perfectly with 42 Scubapro 3mm sock. I can´t wait to try them in the water.

Good and strong ends. I upgraded from Cressi Palau SAF. The Cressi Reaction are twice as big and require much more effort from the legs. I wear a 44-size shoe (size 10 US). The size L-XL of the Reaction fins fit me well with 5 mm boots. With less than 5 mm, the L-XL would be too big for me. There is plenty of space for larger feet. The EBS strap works well.

As I've had a pr of these fins before they're a great fin and easy on the leg muscles but they're also powerful when needed. I yet to receive these fins from the supplier as they haven't arrived yet.ive checked tracking and they're in Belgium . delivery from these people are slow.

Normally the size of the fin corresponds to the size of the feet. So if you are a size 38 take a 38 palm. I´m a size 37, I have shoes in 38 (3 mins) and the fins in 36-38 are large. My foot is stuck at the bottom. If you have very thick slippers, try Cressi fins even if they are not the same model. Otherwise they are very good, I have never had any cramps with these fins.

This my second pair of reaction fins. Previous fins were not EBS. As others have noted, these are big, stiff fins. The foot pocket is also on the large side. I exchanged the first pair (L/XL for S/M -- US shoe size = 10.5); I would recommend trying a pair on before purchasing. I use these fins for snorkeling year round (St. Croix, USVI); almost daily since retiring. I loved the first pair but decided I needed a color change (blue to yellow) to make myself a bit more visible to boaters. I was a bit nervous about the EBS as the straps on the first pair were pulled down all the way. The EBS holds as well if not better than the straps. And is much easier to get on/off. The foot pocket is very comfortable. I don't wear boots or swim socks. The EBS band does not bite into my achilles tendon. Swam with them for 2.5 hours today. Strong current due to 20+ mph winds. My legs are tired and will no doubt be sore tomorrow, but that's a plus: snorkeling beats a trip to the gym any day. That current is why I chose a stiffer fin.
