Product description of Cressi Sioux sling speargun

Description summary

Discover the CRESSI Sioux, the perfect speargun for beginners and those who value simplicity and efficiency. Reliable, durable, and remarkably easy to use, its lightweight anti-corodal aluminum barrel and ergonomic rubbersoft grip ensure comfortable, instinctive aiming. The gentle trigger system and safety catch provide confidence with every shot. It comes equipped with balanced 13mm power bands for an ideal mix of thrust and ease of use, with the option to add a second band for more power. The Sioux offers an unbeatable combination of performance and value

If you are looking for simplicity and efficiency, or you are just starting your underwater fishing practices, the Cressi Sioux 50 speargun is an excellent choice. Reliable, resistant and easy to use, the Sioux can stand up against much more complex, high-performance rifles.

With an expertly-designed rubbersoft grip, using the Sioux 50 becomes as simple as point-and-shoot. An oversized trigger guard and a soft-action trigger give you an ergonomic, highly-comfortable feel in each shot, while its safety lock confidently prevents accidental firing.

The Sioux 50’s shaft is built in a lightweight, non-deformable anti-corodal aluminium. This rifle’s headboard comes pre-equipped with 13 mm elastics, with an excellent balance between pulling power and ease of use; it also includes an additional ring that allows using an additional rubber to increase shooting power.

Tried and tested and effective spear guns, the strengths of Sioux guns lie in the excellent materials used, their reliability, the easy firing and the favourable quality-price ratio.

The barrel is made from light, non-deformable anti-corrodal aluminium.

The inclination of the handgrip is designed for perfect firing and for quick, instinctive aiming; this is covered in rubbersoft.

The trigger system is very gentle and progressive, and is fitted with a safety catch.

A strong ring for the line comes out of the bottom of the handgrip, and at the front there are 2 line releasing devices, the dovetail trigger for the reel and a somewhat advanced spear-rail saddle.

The muzzle has 13 mm standard bands complete with simple arched wishbones with a right ratio between loading ease and forward thrust.

The muzzle is set for possible use of a second circular band.

The 6 mm diameter shaft comes with a single wing and two weapon notches.

What our customers are saying about Cressi Sioux sling speargun

This Cressi speargun is an excellent value, praised for its sturdy, solid construction and comfortable ergonomic grip. It´s lightweight, manageable, and easy to use, making it a perfect speargun for beginners in underwater fishing. Users find it shoots precisely with a smooth trigger. While powerful enough for freshwater and hole fishing, its power and range can be easily upgraded by adding a second band. A reliable, high-quality choice for starting spearfishing

I ordered this 50cm rifle to start with and honestly it works great, light, very easy to handle, and very accurate when shooting

Good price to product ratio

I ordered from DiveInn for the first time and was a little unsure because of the low prices and the spartan description. But I'm happy, it was original CRESSI at a reasonable price and the delivery time was acceptable. If I don't need something within 3 days, I'll definitely order again.

Ottomo 50 cm speargun. Sturdy, with an exceptional grip that does not tire the wrist even after hours of fishing. The quality/price ratio is high. I would definitely buy it again.

Good product , not so good manual

2023/09/27

MARIAN SORESCU

If you want to rig the line of the Cressi Sioux speargun you must find the information on the internet , like knots, how to start the rig, distances from the end of the arrow to knot ,where to finish the rig and how . You will never find it in the manual . I don't want to classify the manual - there is no mark for it , (is a very short one for all the products ), for a beginner is almost unusable . Product seems to be good , works good ,I will test it in the next summer season .

Good quality in general, but I improved the power with a second circular band from OMER and the harpoon was bonded with Ø1.5mm Salvimar monofilament. Delivery before the expected date.

Fast delivery, very lightweight, came fully assembled, very sturdy construction, easy to cock, good reliable trigger pressure and great safety button, more than enough power, everything I need, cheers.

Great!

John

Perfect! Used a lot this summer, taken a few pikes and some other fish I dont know the english word for. Taste good! The gun is perfect for freshwater hunting with low wisibility, in it´s original its prolly not so good for tropical waters due to its short range, but with extra bands or a better then the original it should work just fine.

Good rifle

eduardo ruiz moles

Good speargun to start spearfishing, the attachment of the rod to the speargun leaves something to be desired, the rope does not admit a knot in conditions and it slips easily

Great little speargun, feels solid and easy to setup

Happy I bought the cressi. Needed a small 50cm and this really feels solid and handy for caves and flat fish.

Great entry level or back up speargun

2019/03/24

Bjørn Collin

I used the 75cm Cressi Sioux in salty Danish conditions throughout last summer and it worked perfectly. The trigger mechanism is smooth and is powerful enough for hunting flounders and sea trout. If you want to crank it up, both the spear and the muzzle allow for adding an extra band. Don't forget to put it up with a bungee.

just change the league and you will have a good harpoon for the reef

Perfect for the reef, beach or sea shore

2018/11/02

Luis Fernando Cano Blanco

Very good product, everything came in handy, the trade inn people do a good job, I recommend buying here, if you put the second league, it works very well for the reef, very good harpoon and quality for what you pay, apart from that The harpoon floats when unloaded, a very good option for those who start underwater fishing !!

Change rubber

2018/09/02

達人

It's easy to use, but it's better to replace the rubber because there's not enough power. If you change the rubber to a thickness and a length up a notch, it will be easier to use.

Perfect!

Super nice harpoon. Located very well in the water and its "small" size makes it very easy to handle. Is nice for flat and other small fish. Just have it tested on a little bigger fish but it's really nice to have as a backup regardless of this.

Can it be modified into a double 16 power rubber band?

Answer of Vasileios

Theoretically and practically it can but there is no reason to do so. This is a small gun for hole fishing. Adding a seconds band will destroy your shaft every time you hit a rock. If you want to add more range better buy a bigger gun as adding a second band to this will make it lose precision

Good afternoon, What are the sizes of the 50 CM so I can get this in my check in suitcase? Or what is the best way to travel with this?

Answer of Guo Bin Bin

Yes, it's just right to take it on a trip, but it's okay to fish some small fish, but not big fish.

Good morning, I´m interested in buying, I just wanted to know the length of the wire after firing

Answer of Benjy

It's a rope. so you can always reduce the line, but probs 3 or so. I would get the other cheap cressi model which doesn't have the chest plate on the back which prevents you looking down the shaft.

Hello! I just bought this 75 cressi harpoon! I have been diving for many years but never with a harpoon... and after buying it I am wondering if it comes with the rod rope or do I have to buy it separately! And is it easy to assemble everything or does everything come assembled? Thanks for the help

Answer of Alen

I received mine with the rope. If you are first time facing it best to consult a diving professional/center to help you assemble and use it properly.
