De Profundis P Backplate weight

DE PROFUNDIS P Backplate Weight (4.9 kg) | Integrated Diving Weight System

Revolutionize your in-water stability and streamline your profile with the DE PROFUNDIS P Backplate Weight. Designed for the discerning diver who demands perfect trim and ultimate comfort, this integrated weight system is a fundamental upgrade for any backplate and wing setup. By moving ballast directly onto your rig, you can fine-tune your buoyancy and achieve a level of hydrodynamic efficiency that traditional weight belts simply cannot match. Experience the difference of a perfectly balanced and unobtrusive weighting solution on your next dive.

The core philosophy behind the P-Weight is to centralize mass and bring it as close to the diver´s spine and center of gravity as possible. This intelligent design translates into significant real-world benefits underwater.

Key Benefits:

* Achieve Flawless Trim: The primary advantage of the P-Weight is its ability to help you attain and maintain perfect horizontal trim with minimal effort. By concentrating 4.9 kg of weight along the center of your back, it counteracts the natural buoyancy of your legs and lower body, allowing you to glide effortlessly through the water. This reduces fatigue and significantly improves gas consumption.
* Enhanced Streamlining and Efficiency: Eliminate the drag and bulk of external weight pockets or a cumbersome weight belt. The P-Weight fits discreetly within the central channel of your backplate, creating a sleek, hydrodynamic profile that cuts through the water with less resistance. This is a critical advantage for technical, cave, and wreck divers navigating tight restrictions.
* Unparalleled Comfort and Stability: Say goodbye to shifting weights and uncomfortable pressure points on your hips. Because the P-Weight is securely bolted to your rig, it becomes a fixed, integral part of your system. The weight is distributed evenly and remains static throughout the dive, providing a feeling of supreme stability and allowing you to focus on your dive, not your gear.
* Secure and Reliable: The direct-mount system ensures your weight is always where it needs to be. There is no risk of accidental loss that can occur with weight pockets or belts, providing peace of mind, especially during complex dives or when using a drysuit.

Main Features:

* Purpose-Built Design: Expertly engineered to fit perfectly into the central groove or channel found on most standard backplates, ensuring a flush and integrated fit.
* Direct-Mount System: The weight is designed to be securely fastened directly to the backplate, creating a solid, non-shifting ballast solution that becomes one with your diving rig.
* Substantial Ballast: Provides a significant 4.9 kg of fixed, non-ditchable weight, ideal for divers looking to remove a large amount of weight from their belt or for those diving in colder waters requiring more ballast.
* Unobtrusive Profile: Once installed, the P-Weight is incredibly low-profile, preserving the clean lines of your backplate and wing setup and preventing snags or entanglement.

Ideal for technical divers, DIR enthusiasts, and any recreational diver using a backplate system, the DE PROFUNDIS P-Weight is the definitive solution for optimizing your weighting, trim, and overall diving performance.
