Dirzone Gator L Wraps 26-32 cm

DIRZONE Gator L Wraps 26-32 cm

Achieve flawless trim and complete control on every dive with the DIRZONE Gator L Wraps. Designed for the discerning diver, especially those using a dry suit, these essential accessories are the definitive solution to managing lower leg inflation. By effectively preventing unwanted air migration to the calves and feet, the Gator Wraps allow you to maintain a perfect, streamlined horizontal position in the water, enhancing your stability, efficiency, and overall diving comfort. Eliminate the common and frustrating "floaty feet" problem that can disrupt your buoyancy and focus. With these wraps securely in place, you can concentrate on your dive, confident that your trim will remain stable and predictable.

The DIRZONE Gator Wraps are engineered to be a robust and reliable part of your core diving kit. Their primary benefit lies in their ability to gently compress the lower leg section of your dry suit. This simple yet highly effective action stops air from accumulating in the boots, which is a frequent challenge when a diver assumes the correct horizontal swimming posture with legs slightly elevated. The result is a more hydrodynamic profile, reducing drag and allowing you to move through the water with less effort. This improved efficiency can translate to lower gas consumption and longer, more enjoyable bottom times. They are an indispensable tool for technical, wreck, and cave divers who demand precision in every aspect of their equipment configuration and in-water performance.

Built for durability and ease of use in demanding underwater environments, the main features of the Gator Wraps focus on security and fit. The wide design ensures that pressure is distributed evenly around the calf, providing a comfortable yet firm hold without constricting movement or circulation. A powerful and extensive fastening system guarantees that the wraps stay exactly where you put them throughout the entire dive, regardless of depth or activity level. This secure attachment provides peace of mind, knowing your buoyancy control aid will not shift or come loose when you need it most. They are a superior alternative to traditional ankle weights for managing trim, offering a more integrated and less cumbersome solution.

Technical Specifications and Sizing

Tightening calf wraps reduce inflation of a diving suit at the calf and foot part while swimming in an appropriate position (with legs slightly above the body).

Material: Cordura 1100, elastic ribbon 100 mm, velcro.

SIZES and DIMENSIONS:

* Size M: Circumference of the wrap, no stretching applied - 38 cm (15 inches).
* Size L: Circumference of the wrap, no stretching applied - 43 cm (17 inches).
* Size XL: Circumference of the wrap, no stretching applied - 48 cm (19 inches).
* Size XXL: Circumference of the wrap, no stretching applied - 53 cm (21 inches).

Sizing Example:
For a naked calf with the widest circumference of 39 cm, we would recommend choosing size L. This accounts for the additional bulk of a dry suit and a thermal undersuit, ensuring a secure and proper fit over your full exposure protection. Always measure your calf over the thickest part of your undersuit and dry suit for the most accurate sizing.
