Dirzone Sidemount Back Pad

Unlock the ultimate versatility in your diving setup with the DIRZONE Sidemount Back Pad, the essential accessory for any diver looking to explore the world of sidemount diving without investing in an entirely new system. Designed with precision and practicality, this innovative back pad allows you to seamlessly convert your existing DIRZONE backplate and wing (BP/W) system into a fully functional and comfortable sidemount rig. It´s the most intelligent and cost-effective solution for divers who value modularity and performance in their equipment.

Experience a new dimension of freedom and a streamlined profile in the water. The primary benefit of this system is its transformative power, offering an affordable pathway into sidemount diving. By leveraging the robustness of your current DIRZONE backplate, you maintain the core stability and reliability you trust while adapting it for a different diving discipline. This is ideal for both technical divers exploring tight restrictions and recreational divers seeking the unique comfort and buoyancy characteristics of a sidemount configuration.

Key Benefits:

* Cost-Effective Conversion: Transform your standard backmount BP/W system into a sidemount configuration, saving you the significant expense of purchasing a dedicated sidemount BCD jacket.
* Enhanced Diving Comfort: The padded design provides exceptional lumbar support, reducing fatigue on longer dives and improving overall comfort, both on the surface and underwater.
* Ultimate Versatility: Enjoy the best of both worlds. Easily switch between your backmount and sidemount setups by simply adding or removing the pad, giving you a modular system that adapts to any diving environment.
* Streamlined Profile: The integrated beaver tail design helps keep tanks perfectly in place, creating a hydrodynamic profile that reduces drag, conserves energy, and allows for easier movement through wrecks, caves, and tight spaces.

Simple Transformation Process:

Using this Pad you are able to transform your DIRZONE wingsystem into a sidemount system.

The pad is to be screwed on the lower end of the backplate making it possible to clip the tanks there.

The leash is to be threated through the upper slot in the backplate.

Here the tankvalves are placed in bungees.

Main Features:

* Ergonomic Padded Design: Purpose-built to cushion the lower back against the backplate and tanks, providing superior support and comfort throughout your dive.
* Integrated Beaver Tail: A robust, semi-rigid beaver tail section extends downwards, featuring strategically placed attachment points for securing the bottom of your sidemount tanks.
* Robust Lower Attachment Points: Equipped with durable, corrosion-resistant hardware for securely clipping off your tanks, ensuring they remain stable and streamlined against your body.
* Upper Bungee System Integration: Includes a dedicated top leash and is designed to work flawlessly with a bungee system threaded through the upper slots of your backplate for secure tank valve placement.
* Secure Backplate Mounting: Engineered to mount directly and securely to the lower section of a standard DIRZONE backplate with the included hardware, guaranteeing a stable, no-wobble fit.
