Enhance the security, reliability, and ease of use of your BCD jacket with the DIVE RITE Slide Quick Release Plastic 1.5 Inches Buckle. As a crucial component in any diver´s setup, this buckle is engineered by Dive Rite, a brand synonymous with quality and performance in the world of technical diving. It serves as the perfect replacement part or a significant upgrade for your existing equipment, ensuring your gear remains securely fastened while offering effortless operation when you need it most.

The primary benefit of this buckle lies in its intuitive and robust slide quick-release mechanism. Designed for the demanding conditions of any underwater environment, this system allows for swift and simple one-handed operation. This is especially critical for divers wearing thick neoprene or drysuit gloves, where traditional pinch-release buckles can be cumbersome and frustrating. The smooth slide action ensures a positive and secure lock that prevents accidental release under load, giving you complete peace of mind during your dive. Whether you need to quickly doff your gear on the surface or make an adjustment underwater, this buckle performs flawlessly every time.

Crafted from premium acetyl resin, a high-performance engineered plastic, this buckle offers superior durability and longevity. Unlike metal alternatives, it is completely immune to the corrosive effects of saltwater, ensuring it will not rust, seize, or degrade over time. This material is also renowned for its exceptional tensile strength, impact resistance, and dimensional stability, meaning it will not warp or break under the strain of fully loaded diving equipment. Its lightweight construction helps reduce the overall weight of your rig without compromising on strength, making it an ideal choice for both local diving and travel.

This versatile piece of hardware is designed to be fully compatible with standard 1.5-inch (3.8 cm) webbing, which is commonly used for BCD shoulder straps, waist straps, harness systems, and accessory straps. Its universal fit makes it an essential spare part to have in your save-a-dive kit, ready to replace a broken or worn-out buckle at a moment´s notice. Upgrading to these buckles can significantly improve the functionality of your BCD, providing a smoother and more reliable experience on every dive.
