IST DOLPHIN TECH JT 40 Single Tank Air Cell

Experience superior buoyancy control and unparalleled freedom in the water with the IST DOLPHIN TECH JT 40 Single Tank Air Cell. As a premium component for your BCD jacket setup, this wing is engineered for the discerning diver who prioritizes performance, stability, and a minimalist profile. This is the smaller version of JT-50, sharing its high-performance features but specifically designed and optimized for single tank use. The JT 40 provides the perfect balance of lift and hydrodynamics for both recreational and technical diving applications.

The defining characteristic of the JT 40 is its exceptionally streamlined design. When a diver assumes a horizontal swimming position, the air cell´s frontal width is barely wider than an average person’s shoulders. This advanced hydrodynamic profile significantly reduces drag, allowing for more efficient propulsion through the water. You´ll conserve energy and enjoy longer, more comfortable dives, whether you´re navigating a tight wreck penetration or gliding effortlessly over a reef.

Optimized Performance with a Circular Wing Design

The JT 40 utilizes a circular doughnut style wing, a design favored by experienced divers for its outstanding performance. This shape allows for smooth, even air migration around the entire cell, preventing air trapping that can lead to instability and poor trim. The result is exceptionally stable buoyancy and easier achievement of perfect horizontal trim, giving you greater control and confidence underwater. With 40lbf of lift, it provides ample buoyancy for a standard single back-mounted tank (up to 100cuft / 15L) and associated equipment, ensuring you have reliable lift when you need it most.

Built for Durability and Reliability

Crafted for divers who demand equipment that can withstand the elements, the JT 40 is built to last. The outer shell is constructed from incredibly tough material that offers maximum resistance to abrasion, tears, and punctures. Inside, the bladder is made from a durable, laminated fabric, ensuring long-term air retention and reliability dive after dive. Buoyancy adjustments are made simple and intuitive with the included 16-inch tech elbow inflator and a strategically placed automatic pressure relief valve that also functions as a pull dump. A low-pressure BC hose is included, ensuring you have a critical component ready for integration with your regulator system.
