IST DOLPHIN TECH JT-40 BCD with SS Backplate & Basic Harness

Discover unparalleled freedom and precision in the water with the IST DOLPHIN TECH JT-40 BCD, a masterfully engineered wing and harness system designed for the discerning single-tank diver. As the more compact counterpart to the acclaimed JT-50, this BCD jacket brings the pinnacle of technical diving performance to a streamlined, single-tank configuration. It is the perfect choice for adult divers, both men and women, who demand superior trim, stability, and a minimalist setup without compromising on capability or durability. Experience a new level of control and efficiency on every dive.

The core benefit of the JT-40 lies in its exceptionally streamlined design. The air cell’s frontal width, when in a horizontal swimming position, is expertly tailored to be barely wider than an average person’s shoulders, significantly reducing drag and conserving your energy. This thoughtful engineering allows for smoother, more efficient propulsion through the water. The circular doughnut-style wing ensures perfect buoyancy and trim control, preventing air from getting trapped and allowing for easy, symmetrical inflation. This results in an incredibly stable platform, whether you are hovering motionless for a photograph or navigating a complex environment. The robust stainless steel backplate and basic harness form a solid, reliable foundation that offers a secure and customized fit, essential for advanced diving activities.

This BCD vest is built for performance. It provides a substantial 40lbf of lift, more than enough for a single back-mounted tank (up to 100cuft / 15L) and any associated equipment. Buoyancy adjustments are intuitive and effortless, thanks to a 16-inch tech elbow inflator and a strategically placed automatic pressure relief valve and pull dump on the left waist side. This combination gives you precise control over your ascent, descent, and neutral buoyancy. The system is designed for the modern diver who values modularity and a clean, snag-free profile, making it an ideal choice for everything from deep reef exploration to wreck penetration. A low-pressure BC inflator hose is included to ensure you are ready to connect to your first stage right away.
