Kraken Flash S80 +420g float

Kraken S80+ Underwater Strobe with +420g Buoyancy Float

Elevate your underwater photography and capture the true, vibrant colors of the deep with the Kraken Sports S80+ Underwater Strobe. Engineered for discerning photographers who demand power, precision, and performance, the S80+ is a revolutionary lighting tool designed to bring your underwater images to life. This advanced strobe combines formidable power with exceptional light quality, ensuring every shot is perfectly illuminated, from the tiniest macro subject to expansive wide-angle seascapes.

The defining feature of the Kraken S80+ is its unique circular xenon flash tube. Unlike traditional strobes that can create harsh shadows and uneven hotspots, the circular tube produces a beautifully soft, even, and wide beam of light. This creates a natural, pleasing illumination that wraps around your subjects, revealing stunning detail and rich coloration without the distracting artifacts of inferior lighting. Whether you are shooting intricate critter portraits or capturing the grandeur of a coral reef, the S80+ delivers a quality of light that is second to none.

Unleash Your Creative Potential with Unmatched Control and Power

Power and speed are at the core of the S80+. With an impressive guide number, this strobe has the strength to light up dark, ambient scenes and freeze fast-moving marine life with crystal-clear clarity. The remarkably fast recycle time means you are always ready for the next shot, ensuring you never miss that fleeting moment of action. This rapid-fire capability is essential for sequence shooting, allowing you to capture the perfect expression or behavior.

Control is intuitive and versatile. Large, ergonomic dials make adjusting power levels effortless, even while wearing thick gloves. For the ultimate in convenience, the S80+ is compatible with the Kraken remote control system, allowing you to change settings on the fly without ever taking your hands off your housing handles. This seamless integration lets you stay focused on your composition and your subject. An integrated, powerful LED modeling and focus light assists with subject acquisition in low-light conditions and doubles as a capable video light for short clips.

Superior Handling and Buoyancy

This specific package includes the +420g Buoyancy Float, a game-changing accessory for handling and comfort. The float collar is custom-designed to integrate perfectly with the S80+ strobe, offsetting its negative weight in the water. The result is a neutrally buoyant lighting rig that feels weightless and maneuverable. This significantly reduces arm fatigue on long dives and allows for smoother, more precise positioning of your strobes for creative lighting effects. Experience unparalleled freedom of movement and focus on your photography, not on wrestling with heavy equipment.
