Kraken RC02 remote control

KRAKEN RC02 Remote Control for Underwater Lighting

Unleash the full potential of your underwater lighting system with the KRAKEN RC02 Remote Control, the ultimate accessory for photographers and videographers seeking precision, speed, and effortless command. Designed for the demanding underwater environment, this remote trigger streamlines your creative workflow, allowing you to make critical lighting adjustments on the fly without ever taking your hands off your camera tray handles. Experience a new level of control and focus entirely on capturing the perfect shot.

The RC02 is engineered for seamless integration and intuitive operation. Its primary benefit lies in its ability to manage your lighting setup with unparalleled ease. You can use it to set one or two lights at a time, giving you the flexibility to control a single key light or a dual-light configuration for more complex and creative lighting scenarios. Make immediate power adjustments or switch modes in response to changing ambient light or subject distance, ensuring every frame is perfectly illuminated.

Operation is made simple and clear through an intelligent LED feedback system. The Remote Control shows you its operation through distinct Led lights, instantly confirming which light series you are controlling. A blue light indicates control of Hydra series video spotlights, green corresponds to LTD & Solar Flare Mini video spotlights, and red is for the KR-S160/KR-S80 strobes. This visual confirmation eliminates guesswork and allows for confident, rapid adjustments during your dive.

A standout feature is the smart power management. The off mode from the Remote Control does not turn off the lights permanently; it only leaves them in a dormant state so that you can turn them on again as soon as the need arises. This battery-saving standby function ensures your lights are ready for action the moment you are, preventing missed opportunities while conserving power for longer dives.

The ergonomic trigger is powered by a modern, high-capacity 18650 USB-C battery, making it easy to recharge anywhere in the world without proprietary chargers. To keep you informed of its power level, the trigger features a simple and effective battery status indicator. A green light indicates that the charge is correct and you´re ready to dive, while a red light provides a clear warning that the battery needs to be charged.
