Mares AST-1St Stage Dry System INT Set

Mares AST-1st Stage Dry System INT Set: Ultimate Protection for Your Regulator

Elevate the performance and longevity of your dive gear with the revolutionary Mares AST-1st Stage Dry System INT Set. Designed as a crucial accessory for the discerning diver, this system offers unparalleled protection for the heart of your breathing apparatus—the first stage. Say goodbye to the risks of accidental water or contaminant entry and dive with the absolute confidence that your equipment is shielded from the elements.

The core of this set is Mares´ groundbreaking Auto-Sealing Technology (AST). This intelligent system provides a physical barrier, automatically sealing the first stage inlet as soon as it is disconnected from the cylinder valve. This means that even if you forget to replace the dust cap, your regulator´s sensitive internal mechanisms are completely protected from water, dust, salt crystals, and other debris. This simple yet ingenious function drastically reduces the risk of internal corrosion and damage, significantly extending the life of your regulator and minimizing maintenance costs over time.

Unmatched Reliability in All Conditions

The AST-1st Stage Dry System is engineered not just for protection but for enhanced performance in the most demanding environments. For cold water divers, this system is a game-changer. By keeping the first stage interior perfectly dry, it prevents the formation of ice crystals on critical components, a primary cause of free-flows in frigid temperatures. This ensures your regulator performs reliably and safely when you need it most.

Furthermore, the system is fully compatible for use with higher percentages of oxygen, making it an ideal upgrade for divers using Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx). The gas-activated mechanism ensures flawless operation, opening only when pressurized to allow airflow and sealing instantly when the pressure is gone.

Installation is straightforward, allowing you to easily upgrade your existing Mares equipment and immediately benefit from this advanced protection.
