Mares Atlas Regulator Octopus

Mares Atlas Regulator Octopus

Experience unparalleled reliability and performance when you need it most with the Mares Atlas Regulator Octopus. Engineered for divers who refuse to compromise on safety and quality, the Atlas Octopus stands as a pinnacle of emergency regulator design. Born from the exceptional success of the renowned Atlas second stage, this octopus brings the same level of breathing comfort and robust construction to your alternate air source setup. It is the definitive choice for demanding divers and those exploring the most challenging underwater environments.

The core of the Atlas Octopus´s exceptional capability lies in its "All-Metal" technology. This advanced construction provides outstanding thermal conductivity, making it a formidable performer in cold water. Its resistance to freezing in extreme conditions offers a level of confidence and security that is essential for technical and deep-water exploration. For divers venturing into icy waters, the Atlas Octopus is not just an option; it is an essential piece of equipment designed to function flawlessly when temperatures drop.

Breathing from the Atlas Octopus feels remarkably natural and effortless at any depth, thanks to the integrated Mares VAD (Vortex Assisted Design) system. This patented system ensures a consistently high flow of air by creating a vortex of air that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation. The result is a significant reduction in breathing effort and a sensitivity that makes you feel as if you are breathing on the surface. This high-airflow performance ensures that in an out-of-air emergency, both you and your buddy have access to an abundant and unrestricted supply of air, reducing stress and increasing safety.

Designed with real-world diving scenarios in mind, the Atlas Octopus features a wide, pivoting purge button that is incredibly easy to locate and operate, even when wearing thick, cold-water gloves. Furthermore, it comes equipped with a lightweight and durable Superflex hose. This hose is designed to be soft and pliable, drastically reducing the jaw fatigue commonly associated with stiffer hoses and allowing for comfortable, unrestricted movement during use.
