Mares Dual ADJ Octopus

MARES Dual ADJ Octopus: Uncompromising Safety and Adjustable Performance

Ensure every dive is safer with the MARES Dual ADJ Octopus, a high-performance alternate air source designed for discerning divers who refuse to compromise on reliability and comfort. Engineered to provide effortless breathing in a stressful out-of-air situation, this octopus regulator stands as a pinnacle of safety and intuitive design. It is the perfect companion to any high-performance regulator setup, offering your dive buddy the same exceptional breathing quality you enjoy.

The core of the Dual ADJ Octopus is its focus on user-controlled comfort and dependable performance at any depth. In an emergency, breathing should be the last thing you or your buddy needs to struggle with. This is where the MARES patented technologies shine, delivering a smooth, natural, and abundant flow of air on demand.

Key Benefits:

* Customizable Breathing Comfort: The standout feature is the adjustable breathing knob. This allows a diver to fine-tune the breathing effort to their preference. On the surface or when not in use, it can be set to a higher resistance to prevent free-flow, conserving precious air. When needed, a simple turn opens it up for maximum, effortless air delivery, reducing anxiety and stress in a critical moment.
* Effortless Breathing at Any Depth: Incorporating the Pneumatically Assisted Design (PAD) in conjunction with the renowned Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system, this octopus provides an incredibly natural breathing experience. The VAD system creates a swirling vortex of air that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, resulting in remarkably sensitive and easy breathing, regardless of your depth or tank pressure.
* Instant Identification and Ease of Use: In an emergency, seconds count. The Dual ADJ Octopus is designed for immediate recognition with its high-visibility yellow front cover and matching yellow Superflex hose. The oversized, soft-touch purge button is easy to locate and operate, even when wearing thick gloves, ensuring air can be cleared quickly and efficiently.
* Superior Flexibility and Reduced Drag: Equipped with a Superflex hose, this octopus offers unparalleled freedom of movement. The lightweight and extremely pliable hose material resists kinking and reduces the pull and jaw fatigue often associated with stiffer hoses, making it more comfortable for the diver providing assistance.
