At the heart of its exceptional performance is the all-metal body construction. This design not only provides outstanding durability against wear and tear but also offers superior thermal conductivity. This makes the regulator highly resistant to freezing in colder water, ensuring consistent, top-tier performance even when conditions become challenging. The robust metal housing is a testament to its build quality, promising years of dependable service.

Breathing underwater feels completely natural thanks to Mares´ integrated Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. This innovative feature creates a swirling vortex of air that assists in keeping the diaphragm down during inhalation, significantly reducing breathing effort and ensuring a consistently high flow rate at any depth. Paired with this is a simple-to-use breathing comfort adjustment knob, which allows you to precisely control the airflow to match your personal preference or changing dive conditions, even while wearing thick gloves. The oversized, soft-touch purge button is designed for easy and immediate use, allowing for effortless clearing when necessary.

This second stage comes complete with a durable and flexible hose, designed to reduce jaw fatigue and allow for unrestricted head movement, enhancing your overall comfort and freedom in the water.
