Great for travel but fits large

Really light and easy to handle; when new the plastic of the bag is a bit hard but a week of diving was enough to soften it and now it folds easily into the suitcase. For the L/XL adjustment the attachment of the shoulder straps moves to two positions with a snap clip while on the belly there is a velcro. However L/XL is a little wide for me 1.84 cm 91 kg but acceptable. Excellent release of the side weight pockets: precise, safe, immediately accessible.

Puts on like a diving jacket with a wing, very light, folds up well for packing, small disadvantage is that you have to upgrade the jacket with attachment options but the freedom of movement under water is just great. Well balanced, it doesn't push your head forward above water either

Like this BCD very much, although I'd a bit too big even the XXS. Mares tend to build BCDs that would fit many different sizes, but on this one even the smaller one is still a bit too big if you are a small built woman.

i ordered the mares magellan bcd and while postage was a little slow, (i also understand covid19 is having ,an impact) the product arrived i opened the box to try it on and i can say i was impressed by the bcd. its shoulder straps are small and form to the body nicely. the waist strap is comfortable and holds the ingratiated weights in a good position. the bladder inflates and feel firm on your back. i am yet to try it underwater as i only just received it but i look forward to seeing how it fairs.

Look, it´s comfortable so I recommend S/M. It has a two-position adjustment for the upper shoulder strap attachments and a velcro for the belly but for me who am 1.84 x 92 kg the size L/XL adjusted to the minimum is still a bit baggy
