Mares New ABS Plus Fin buckle

MARES New ABS Plus Fin Buckle - The Ultimate Upgrade for Secure and Effortless Diving

Experience unparalleled security and convenience on every dive with the MARES New ABS Plus Fin Buckle and Strap kit. Designed for the discerning diver who demands reliability and ease of use, this essential accessory is the perfect replacement or upgrade for your Mares fins. Say goodbye to the frustration of difficult buckles and the anxiety of accidental fin loss. The innovative ABS (Adjustable Binding System) Plus technology represents a significant evolution in fin safety and performance, ensuring your fins stay securely fastened from the moment you enter the water until your dive is complete.

Mares has meticulously engineered the ABS Plus buckle to drastically improve the release system by increasing fastening safety. The core of this innovation lies in its intelligent, dual-action mechanism. Unlike conventional buckles that can release with an accidental bump or snag, the ABS Plus system provides robust protection against unintentional opening. If pressure is applied from only one side, such as from contact with rocks, coral, or other equipment, the buckle will not release, or will release only with great difficulty. This critical safety feature gives you the peace of mind to focus on your underwater exploration, knowing your fins are securely attached. To open the buckle, both buttons must be pressed at the same time, a deliberate action that is easy for the diver but virtually impossible to occur by accident.

Beyond its superior security, this new system also makes it significantly easier to use. Mares understands that fumbling with gear, especially with cold hands or while wearing thick gloves, can be a major point of frustration. The ABS Plus buckle addresses this by reducing the effort required for both opening and closing. The large, ergonomic buttons are easy to locate and press, providing a smooth and satisfying click upon engagement and a quick, hassle-free release when you need it. This thoughtful design ensures that gearing up and down is a swift and seamless process. This kit comes as a complete solution, providing everything you need to refresh your fins.
