Mares XR Cave Line Marker

MARES XR Cave Line Marker (5-Pack) | Essential Guideline Navigation

Navigate the most demanding underwater environments with the confidence and precision that only the MARES XR Cave Line Marker can provide. An indispensable tool for technical, wreck, and cave divers, this accessory is engineered for absolute reliability when clear orientation is paramount. Designed by divers for divers, these markers are your definitive link to safety and communication on the guideline.

The primary function of these exceptional non-directional markers is to reference a specific spot. Unlike arrows that indicate direction, these markers are used to designate a particular point of interest, a junction, a potential hazard, or a personal location on the line, providing unambiguous information to you and your team. Whether you are conducting complex penetrations or exploring intricate wrecks, these markers are used for orientation as a visual and tactile reference on a guideline, ensuring you always know your position. In zero-visibility conditions, their distinct shape provides crucial tactile feedback, allowing you to interpret your location by touch alone.

At the heart of the MARES XR Cave Line Marker is its unique technical design, meticulously crafted to enhance usability and performance. Each marker is constructed from high-density, injection-molded ABS for durability, offering superior strength and resilience against the crushing pressures of depth and the inevitable impacts of a challenging dive. The robust material ensures a long service life, dive after dive.

The clever design features corners that have been removed for ease of use, a critical detail that prevents snagging on your gear, the guideline, or other equipment. This streamlined profile allows for smooth, one-handed placement and retrieval, even when wearing thick, cold-water gloves. Furthermore, the marker incorporates specialized line-guiding curves and grooves. These features ensure the marker grips the line securely, preventing it from sliding or rotating unintentionally, so it stays exactly where you place it.

Versatility is built into its DNA. The design includes multiple holes for ring/identifier clipping. This allows divers to attach personal "cookies" to claim the marker, connect a strobe for enhanced visibility, or clip them to a D-ring for streamlined transport. For further personalization and clear communication, each marker features a dedicated surface for marking. This flat, textured area is perfect for writing your initials, team number, or specific notes with a permanent marker, eliminating any confusion during team dives.

Supplied in packs of 5, you will have an ample supply for laying a comprehensive trail on extended explorations or for outfitting your entire dive team. Trust in the superior engineering and thoughtful design of Mares XR to enhance your safety and streamline your navigation on every technical dive
