Sometimes the valve at the female end fails. Try tightening it or changing it. You will need a special tool. Other times it is a bigger problem and the only solution would be to change the hose.

It would work with a dry suit, but I use rubber hoses for the dry suit, the flex hoses I use for my travel regulators.
