Product description of Metalsub BCD Inflator hose

Description summary

Upgrade your dive with the METALSUB BCD Inflator Hose. Engineered for ultimate reliability and comfort, this hose boasts an ultra-flexible, kink-resistant design that lets you tie it in a knot while maintaining full airflow. Its 30% lighter, double-braided construction resists abrasion and UV, offering superior durability over rubber. Enjoy effortless routing, reduced drag, and greater agility, whether traveling or exploring. Features standard fittings for universal BCD compatibility

METALSUB BCD Inflator Hose: Ultimate Flexibility and Unrivaled Reliability

Elevate your diving experience with the METALSUB BCD Inflator Hose, the premium upgrade for any diver seeking superior performance, comfort, and absolute peace of mind. Designed for the discerning diver who refuses to compromise on quality, this hose redefines the standards for buoyancy control equipment. Say goodbye to the stiff, bulky, and unreliable rubber hoses of the past and embrace a new era of streamlined efficiency and unparalleled durability. This essential piece of your scuba kit is engineered to integrate seamlessly with your BCD jacket, providing flawless inflation and enhanced maneuverability on every dive.

At the heart of its revolutionary design is its advanced construction. This is not just another hose; it is a meticulously engineered component built for the harsh realities of the underwater world. The METALSUB Flex hose features a double braiding with Rayon, a design specifically conceived to outperform and outlive traditional rubber hoses. This innovative structure provides a host of benefits that you will feel immediately. These hoses are 30% lighter than an equivalent length rubber hose, a significant reduction that translates to less weight in your gear bag for travel and a more comfortable, less cumbersome rig in the water. Furthermore, they have unmatched flexibility. You can literally tie a Flex hose in a knot and be assured of continuous, uninterrupted airflow, a testament to its incredible kink-resistance and a critical safety feature that ensures your BCD inflates precisely when you need it to.

Unmatched Flexibility for Superior Comfort and Routing

The extraordinary flexibility of the METALSUB BCD Inflator Hose transforms your dive. It allows for effortless and tidy hose routing, reducing drag and creating a more streamlined profile in the water. The supple nature of the hose prevents the pulling and tugging on your inflator mechanism that is common with rigid hoses, allowing for more natural movement and greater overall comfort throughout your dive. This flexibility also reduces stress on the fittings at both the first stage and the BCD connection, contributing to a longer lifespan for your entire setup.

Exceptional Durability for Long-Lasting Performance

Built to endure, the METALSUB hose is highly resistant to abrasion, UV rays, and the corrosive effects of saltwater. The robust double-braided exterior protects the inner core from nicks, cuts, and everyday wear and tear, ensuring it remains a reliable part of your life support system for countless dives to come. Unlike traditional rubber that can crack and degrade over time, this modern hose maintains its integrity and performance, offering a significantly longer service life and a greater return on your investment.

Lightweight Design for Travel and In-Water Agility

For the traveling diver, every gram matters. The significant weight savings offered by the METALSUB hose make it the perfect choice for your global adventures. Lighter gear means easier packing, lower baggage fees, and less strain when carrying your kit to the dive site. In the water, this reduced weight contributes to better trim and a feeling of greater freedom and agility, allowing you to focus on the beauty of the underwater environment.

Manufactured with precision and subjected to rigorous quality control, each METALSUB BCD Inflator Hose comes with standard fittings for universal compatibility. It features a 3/8" UNF male fitting to connect to your regulator´s first stage low-pressure port and a standard quick-disconnect coupling for a secure and easy attachment to your BCD´s power inflator. Upgrade your BCD jacket today with the METALSUB Inflator Hose and experience the definitive combination of lightweight design, extreme flexibility, and unwavering reliability on every single dive

What our customers are saying about Metalsub BCD Inflator hose

This flexible inflator hose offers excellent performance and quality construction. Customers praise its durability, with the rubber material feeling robust and leak-free during use. It´s considered a great value, comparable to higher-end brands like Milflex at a significantly lower price. The design is functional, with smooth fittings for easy attachment to BCDs and dry suits. The hose is worth the price, it is of good quality, but it does not have the reinforcements to prevent it from bending when connecting to the first stage. The metal connections are good, in relation to the price the product is excellent.

A good flex hose for inflator. Already used it for 4 dives, everything works as expected

Might just be a hose but its nice quality.

I actually wasn't expecting much for the price but it's a pleasant surprise how well made this is. Very similar to a Milflex but a third of the price. Choice of length was useful too.

I don't have much to say about this hose. It came with the exact dimensions i ordered. The colour matches 100% what you see. It's very flexible, like any other braided hoses.

Ronan

I was very happy with this inflator hose. Just to note, I bought the 64cm hose for my BCD and it is a small bit too long so I would recommend the 56cm hose to be used as a BCD inflator. But the hose itself is great and I love the colour. Would recommend :)
